ACADEMIC YEAR (period of study at Carleton)
The academic year is two terms from September to the end of April. Courses may be scheduled for a full year (F/W),
a Fall term (F), or a Winter term (W).
Half credit courses are identified by [0.5] in the Calendar and are normally offered in one term, either Fall (early
September to December 23) or Winter (early January to end of April). Refer to the Registration Instructions and
Class Schedule to determine when the course will be offered.
Full credit courses are identified by [1.0] in the Calendar and normally begin in September and end on April 30.
