Therma-Tru’s Red Door Promise
The Therma-Tru Red Door Promise is our commitment to always make a great
entrance. We will inspire confidence during your home enhancement process by
ensuring reliability and simplicity with beautiful, easy-to-install entry door
products.

As the inventors of the fiberglass door, we believe we are uniquely qualified to
make this promise. In fact, we believe that because of this promise, choosing
Therma-Tru can help make the home enhancement process easy.

Why Therma-Tru?
 Founded in 1962, Therma-Tru pioneered the fiberglass entry door
category over 25 years ago, and continues to lead the industry in
       innovation.
 The most preferred brand of exterior doors by builders and remodelers for
       10 years running.
 Widest selection of door styles and decorative glass options with full-
       system warranties.
 We work closely with an industry-leading national network of fabricators to
deliver custom solutions and reliable performance to homeowners.

Why Fiberglass?
Therma-Tru works with fiberglass because we discovered that it combined the
best characteristics of wood and steel—design and performance—and took them
a step beyond. Today, nearly one out of five entry doors sold are fiberglass.

Therma-Tru’s fiberglass doors offer thousands of beautiful design options,
including multiple glass designs, sidelites, transoms, wood grains and
architectural styles. A fiberglass door also offers plenty of strength, as it is made
from a material that will not dent or ding like a steel door, nor will it warp, split,
crack or rot like wood. It is perfectly suited to provide homes with both weather
resistance and security, without ever losing its curb appeal. Therma-Tru is
dedicated to excellence in the manufacture of fiberglass doors, because we
believe it allows us to create the best possible door systems.

Durability
 Fiberglass doors won’t dent, rot or rust
 Withstands wide temperature ranges and weather elements such as
strong winds, high-humidity and frequent rain.

Beauty
 Our grained doors are made to look and feel like real wood
 Beautiful decorative glass patterns to accent your home and personal
       style
 Matching hinges and sills with selected glass caming

Low maintenance
 Durable fiberglass construction requires less maintenance than wood or
     steel doors
 Fiberglass can be cleaned with soap and water, and can be painted or
stained like a wood door using Therma-Tru’s patented finishing system
     available in many colors.

Energy Efficiency
 Solid foam core offers five times the insulation value of wood
 Triple pane insulated tempered safety glass
 Compression weather-stripping seals the door tightly

The Therma-Tru® Door System
Therma-Tru provides more than just a door. A full Therma-Tru door system
enhances entryway performance better than materials from multiple sources. The
systems are designed to work as a unit for optimal performance and seamless
beauty. We design the door along with the frame, jamb, hinges, lock and
hardware to create a unified whole. Working together, these components f orm a
seal that provides the best defense against elements, keeping out hard weather,
wind and rain.

A Therma-Tru door system also helps to enhance security, with a locking system
engineered to keep homeowners safe. And by keeping heating and air
conditioning sealed in the house, it provides a valuable boost to home energy
efficiency.

AccuGrain™ Technology
Therma-Tru’s patented AccuGrain™ Technology gives our top-of-the-line
Classic-Craft® fiberglass door systems an accurate representation of every detail
of the grains, texture and feel of premium woods. Well engineered construction
and a Limited Lifetime Warranty make our Classic-Craft brand a first-class
selection.

ENERGY STAR®
Homeowners want more than a beautiful entryway—they want energy efficiency.
That’s exactly what Therma-Tru entry and patio door systems offer, in any region
or climate zone. In fact, most Therma-Tru products are ENERGY STAR®
qualified.
Here are just some of the features that help our doors earn their ENERGY
STAR® rating:

 A polyurethane foam core. Therma-Tru fiberglass doors offer five times
the insulation of wood due to their solid polyurethane foam core, which is
ozone-friendly CFC-free. This essentially creates an energy efficient
envelope for the home, stabilizing the interior temperatures and therefore
decreasing energy costs. In fact, the R-value (measure of thermal
resistance) of a Therma-Tru fiberglass door is almost as insulating as the
       wall of an average home.

 Energy-efficient glass. All of the decorative glass in our doors, sidelites
and transoms is sealed between two panes of tempered glass. This
important design feature contributes to the excellent thermal properties
necessary to qualify for ENERGY STAR®

 Complete systems. Therma-Tru doors are designed as complete
systems with components that work together. This ensures a very tight
seal and provides additional energy savings.

Green Building
The industry is still working on a widely-accepted standard on how to validate
building products and the entire building envelope as environmentally-friendly.
Because of the inherent energy efficient and durable qualities of Therma-Tru
door systems, the doors qualify for points towards certified green building
depending on which standard the builder uses.

 LEED. For the LEED green building standard, Therma-Tru doors can
contribute points in the Energy category with our ENERGY STAR qualified
products, in the Materials category for our recycled content and certified
renewable wood and composite materials, and in the Innovation and
Design category for the longevity and warranty of our products and
because our door systems have been tested for air, water and structural
       performance.

 NAHB National Green Building Standard. Therma-Tru doors can help
contribute up to 128 points in three sections. Our products apply to the
Resource Efficiency section by requiring no additional finish, using
recycled content and containing fewer resources than traditional products
such as wood. Therma-Tru products also apply to the Energy Efficiency
section by helping to meet or exceed required energy codes, and being
part of an onsite third-party inspection to confirm installation of energy-
related features and ensure doors are flashed, caulked and sealed
properly. Lastly, our products contribute to the Indoor Environmental
Quality section if the door between the garage and living area is sealed
       tightly.
 Green Globes. Therma-Tru doors can contribute up to 100 points for
Energy Performance, 114 points for Reduced Energy Demand, 20 points
for Thermal Comfort and 30 points for Acoustical Comfort.

Regardless how you define ―green,‖ there are several sustainable attributes of
Therma-Tru’s products and practices that can apply to a variety of green building
standards.

 Energy Efficiency. Therma-Tru’s fiberglass entry door systems are
ENERGY STAR qualified and NFRC Certified helping homeowners
protect the environment through superior energy efficiency.

 Durability. Purchasing a premium product ensures long-term durability
and reduces the frequency of replacement.

 Alternative to real wood. Perhaps the most compelling reason fiberglass
can be considered green is that it serves as an alternative to fine-grain
wood. Therma-Tru’s proprietary AccuGrain™ Technology captures the
detail of genuine high-end wood doors without harvesting endangered
       wood species like Honduran Mahogany.

 Use of Recycled materials. Therma-Tru uses a variety of recycled
products in our doors including recycled wood chips, diapers and plastic
bottles in its composite wood end rails and sill substrates – materials in
the bottom and top of the door. In addition, the wood products such as
stiles and end rails that are used in the door systems come from managed
       forests.

 Low VOC emissions. Therma-Tru’s new Same-Day™ stain kit produces
30 percent less VOC emissions (volatile organic compounds) than its
original stain kit. In addition, Same-Day stain includes advanced
composite resins made from renewable resources.

 Superior Sound Insulation. Therma-Tru doors not only provide superior
thermal insulation, they also insulate against noise pollution and improve
acoustical comfort inside the home. This is commonly measured by
Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings, which is the ability a product
can block sound. The higher the number, the better the sound insulation.

Curb Appeal and Perceived Value
Therma-Tru commissioned the National Home Valuation Study™, conducted by
TNS, an independent research organization, which found that an enhanced
entryway with a Therma-Tru door system with decorative glass, sidelites and
transom can increase a home's perceived value by up to 6 percent—as much as
$24,800, almost five times the cost of the door system.
 Moderately priced homes in the study saw an increase in their perceived
value by up to 4.1 percent.
 An enhanced entryway positively influences the selling price of a home.

Door Designer
Therma-Tru’s online Door Designer is the perfect interactive design tool to help
you visualize the possibilities of a beautiful, new Therma-Tru entryway to your
home. Once you’ve selected a style of house, the Door Designer generates
recommended door styles that match the selected house or you can browse
through the various styles to find exactly what you want. Then, customize the
entryway be selecting additional door styles, product lines, or door glass and
sidelite options.

Safety & Security
 Multi-Point Locking Systems. The Home Safety Council reports that
unlocked or improperly locked doors and windows are responsible for
nearly half of all home break-ins. Therma-Tru’s Multi-Point Locking
System enhances security because the lock engages the frame at several
points, rather than only at the strike plate. It also keeps the door panel
seated squarely in the frame, ensuring proper alignment and weather
sealing even if the house settles.

 Home Safety Council Awards. In 2006, Therma-Tru was awarded the
Home Safety Council Commendation Award for Product Innovation for
Consumer Safety. Awarded for its patented security strike plate, the 20-
gauge steel component addresses the weaknesses in a typical door
system with significant resistance to forced entry. In 2005, Therma-Tru
received the same award for its Classic-Craft fiberglass door system
because of its outstanding performance in harsh weather conditions.

 Therma-Tru fiberglass door systems are more resistant to forced entry
than wood doors and offer an adjustable security strike plate that
       withstands 450 pounds of force.

 Therma-Tru offers a line of impact rated entry products, including the Lip-
Lite Impact Rated Glass, Internal Blinds and Opaque Impact Rated Doors
to give homeowners more protection against severe storm damage,
including heavy winds, rain and flying debris and break-ins, while
maintaining the curb appeal of the home.

o Opaque Impact Rated Doors. These doors are ideal for coastal
areas that face tropical storms and hurricanes. These doors have
the highest structural ratings and patent pending designs, which
include a steel plate underneath the skin for added strength and
rigidity against hurricane force winds. Depending on the
architectural style of the home, builders, remodelers and
homeowners can select from a range of looks within the Classic-
Craft® Rustic, Oak and Mahogany Collections or from its other
             Fiber-Classic and Smooth-Star lines.

 Two of the leading concerns homeowners have about decorative glass are
related to security and privacy. Homeowners can rest assured that both of
these concerns are addressed with Therma-Tru’s impact rated glass
       options and internal blinds.

o Impact Rated Glass. This glass been approved for installation in
areas with the most stringent building codes and is available in
clear, grilles between glass (GBG) and Low-E for improved energy
            efficiency.

o Internal blinds. For instant privacy and easy-to-operate
mechanism, Therma-Tru brings internal blinds to its Fiber-Classic
entry and patio line. Because the blinds are between the panes of
glass, homeowners won’t have to contend with dust or damage.
The blinds are fully adjustable to let the desired amount of light in or
can be closed completely for ultimate privacy.

Fiberglass Door Systems:

Tru-Defense® Systems
 Available for all Therma-Tru fiberglass doors, Tru-Defense door systems
are the standard in high performance. Designed to work together, the
system will protect homes from severe weather. Therma-Tru stands
squarely behind the Tru-Defense Door Systems, and now offers
homeowners reimbursement up to $2,000 should water infiltrate into the
home. Homeowners can be confident that a Therma-Tru entry or patio
door with the Tru-Defense door system will stand up to driving winds and
       rain.

 The components of a Tru-Defense door system offer features that counter
inclement weather throughout the year. A High Dam Sill with composite
construction and counter sunk screws provides flush contact with the door
bottom to seal out air and water. The Door Bottom Sweep has dual bulbs
with dual fins that sit tightly on the sill to prevent air and water infiltration,
and a Rain Deflector repels water away from all sealing components.
