SUBSPECIALTY DAY SPONSORSHIPS

This year, the Academy will feature two opportunities for each subspecialty day:
Subspecialty Day Syllabus
Each of the Subspecialty Day programs features a syllabus which is provided to the attendees. The syllabus is a comprehensive
program that becomes a valuable reference long after the meeting. Many of the ophthalmologists who are unable to attend
Subspecialty Day will purchase the syllabus. Commercial supporters will be acknowledged on the title page of the syllabus, in
onsite signage, on the session walk-in slides and in the Joint Meeting and Subspecialty Day promotional material. In addition,
the commercial supporters will be recognized for their cumulative support in the Academy Foundation’s Annual Report, on its
Web site and listed on the Donor Wall at the Joint Meeting.

Subspecialty Day Audience Response System
Throughout the meeting, presenters and moderators will have the ability to utilize an audience response system. Interactive
keypads will allow “real-time” polling of attendees to capture physicians’ opinions and to determine the “best practice”
treatment strategies for specific case studies. The results will be immediately projected on a large public screen, facilitating
further discussion and enhancing the educational experience of the audience. Commercial supporters will be acknowledged in
onsite signage, on the session walk-in slides and in the Joint Meeting and Subspecialty Day promotional material. In addition,
