  Electronic Tuning
   – PCF2123 incorporates an offset register which can be used for:
       •   Ageing adjustment
       •   Temperature compensation
       •   Accuracy tuning
   – The offset is made once every two hours in normal mode or once ever
      hour in course mode.
   – The correction is made by adding or subtracting pulses to/from a 64Hz
      clock, thereby shortening/lengthening the period of a single second of the
      1 Hz clock, which is derived from this 64 Hz clock.

     Increased Accuracy thanks to electronic tuning possibility !
