Financial aid
The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh is committed to providing quality programs and services to everyone in the
community and that is made possible through the annual Campaign for Strong Communities. Financial assistance,
based on demonstrated ability to pay and the YMCA’s ability to fund the amount requested, will be made available.
Applications are available at the Member Service Desk at each YMCA. All financial assistance information is kept
confidential.

Family Membership
Family memberships apply to households with a maximum of two adults residing at the same address, and children
residing at that same address who are up to the age of 21 and a full-time student; 17 years of age if they are not
students. Photo identification may be required.

You are welcome to use the YMCA facility if you are not a member, to determine if membership is right for you.
When accompanied by a member, you can purchase a family guest pass for $15, an individual guest pass for $10 or
a children’s guest pass for $5. The Guest Pass fee will be applied toward the cost of membership when you join. You
may purchase up to 3 Guest Passes per calendar year. You must be 18 or older to purchase a guest pass. Due to state
regulations, individuals who purchase guest passes are not permitted to use the YMCA pool.

                             YMCA Wellness Centers are equipped with all the essential elements for our
                             members to exercise. Experienced, knowledgeable and personable training staff
                             provide members with professional guidance through step-by-step equipment
                             orientation. Our goal is to have our members understand not only what being
                             physically fit means, but also, why it is so important to have an overall mental
                             and spiritual well-being.

    Whether you are training for a specific goal or you just want extra support, our team
    of personal trainers will design a program that is suited for your personal goals. We
    will increase your motivation, teach you new techniques and keep your workout fresh
    while enhancing your overall level of wellness.
     The Allegheny YMCA is now offering personal training. With a certified trainer, you
    can take the guess work out of your training. A personal exercise program is designed
    for YOUR fitness needs! If motivation is a problem, you’ll have a professional to
    motivate and guide you towards your goals. Even experienced weightlifters have been
    impressed by the information they have received. Appointments can be scheduled
    for a ½ hour or even an hour. Prices are $25 for a ½ hour and $40 for 1 hour. Contact

    Co-ed Volleyball league
    Sign up your team to compete in one of the best leagues in town. The league will last ten
    weeks and each team should consist of at least six players (minimum of two females).
    Mandatory captain’s meeting January 14 at 6 p.m. All teams should be represented and
    all fees must be paid at this time.

                        a pizza dinner, swim time, and a movie. Pre-registration by the Wednesday prior is
