Cary Printing, the first Internationally PEFC Certified printer in America, has announced the
hiring of two new customer service representatives, Michelle Laffler and Randy Simpson as
additions to their Customer Service Department. Laffler and Simpson will be responsible for order
processing and project management, interacting with Account Executives and nurturing strong
client relationships.

Hospice of Wake County will hold a two-day training class for new and prospective family
support volunteers from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 21 and 23. This training will give volunteer
candidates an informative overview of the hospice mission and philosophy and will prepare
them to visit patients in their homes, hospital or nursing home. For more information, including

Honoring Two Area Teachers

T   his month we are honoring two Teacher of the Month’s. Our first teacher, Nancy
    Lassiter, teaches at Green Hope High School. Nancy currently teaches Honors
Algebra 2 and AP Statistics. She has been teaching in Wake County since July 2003

and received her B.S. in Mathematics from Meredith College and her M Ed. Mathematics               Committee of 100
with a minor in Statistics from NCSU. On Nancy’s teaching philosophy she states, “My
