Admin Charge: £75 (Member Centres) per trainee, invoiced when the place has been confirmed. No refunds will be given is a trainee withdraws from the course. Non-attendance: If a trainee you have booked onto a course and cannot attend, please let ACSIS know as soon as possible. Centres will be charged a £10 administration fee for anyone booked onto a course that does not attend and does not notify ACSIS in advance. This fee will be waived if there are extenuating circumstances (e.g. illness). Access: The ACSIS building is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If trainees have particular needs, please ring ACSIS to discuss ways of making worker’s attendance as problem free as possible.
Childcare Costs: From September 2008 no childcare costs will be paid by ACSIS. Dear Centre Manager/Coordinator/Volunteer Support Worker, So that we can make sure new learners coming on the BAWS course are well prepared, we would be grateful if you could complete the following checklist for each individual you want to send on the course. We hope this will help ensure learners are less likely to withdraw from the course and can successfully complete This should benefit both your centre and your learners. It will also help us to meet training targets (on which a significant part of ACSIS funding for providing training for centres relies). We need to have this completed checklist back for each learner you want to send on the BAWS course, so please attach it to the booking form.
