Position: Program Director

Duties: The Program Director will work closely with the General Manager to carry out
the programming philosophy of the station. This position will also entail: recruiting,
training and supervising a student staff, identifying and scheduling syndicated and locally
produced programming and monitoring the station to ensure that the format is followed.
In addition, the Program Director is required to serve as an on-air announcer as needed.

Qualifications: A strong interest in learning basic radio station operations and
procedures is needed. This position also requires excellent oral and written
communication skills as well as leadership potential. The candidate must be in good
academic standing. A sophomore classification is preferred. Any prior experience
working in high school or college radio station is helpful.

Position: Music Director

Duties: The Music Director is responsible for identifying appropriate musical selections
to air on the station. Also a music play list that is consistent with the format of the station
must be developed and records and compact discs must be coded into identifiable
categories for on-air rotation. The Music Director must regularly contact record
companies to obtain promotional material as well as serve as an on-air announcer as
needed.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have an appreciation for different genres of
music and be familiar with radio formats. A sophomore classification is preferred. Good
academic standing is required.

Position: Production Director

Duties: The Production Director is responsible for recording promos, drops,
commercials and public affairs programs for the station. Other duties include: Assisting
in the training of staff on studio equipment operations, serving as on-air announcer and
basic studio maintenance.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in audio production and be
generally interested in helping others understand digital and analog recoding procedures.
The successful completion of a class in Radio Production or prior experience in a high
school and must be at least a sophomore in good academic standing.

Position: Traffic Director

Duties: The Traffic Director is responsible for the proper completion of program logs,
which include scheduling programs, public service announcements, promos and
commercials. A program log is needed in the station on a dial y basis. The Traffic
Director is required to take minutes each staff meeting and serve as an on-air announcer
as needed.

Qualifications: Good clerical skills and computer literacy is needed. The ideal candidate
should also have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to
get along well with oaters. This position is open to all persons in good academic standing.

Duties: The Promotions Director is responsible for promoting a favorable image of the
station at all times, which includes coordinating and scheduling on and off air promotions
as well as producing flyers and program guides. Additionally, the Promotions Director
will assist members of the staff in procuring complimentary concert tickets, gift
certificates, theater passes, ect. for station giveaways.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be able to work well with others. A basic
knowledge of public relations, advertising and computer graphics is helpful. This position

duties assigned by the Program Director.

Duties: The General Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting funds from local
businesses through the sale of commercials. He/She will work closely with the General
Manager on all matters related to the sale of airtime for the station. The General Sales
Manager will recruit and train account executives for the station and will work with the
sales staff to meet a specific financial goal for the station. Also, a sales packet must be
created.

Qualifications: The General Sales Manager should have prior sales experience (retail
sales is acceptable). He/She must possess good oral and written communication skills as
well as good organizational skills. Prior knowledge of business administration,
advertising or marketing will be helpful. An automobile is needed unless an alternate
form of transportation can be identified. This position is open to all candidates in good

Position: Webmaster

Duties: The Webmaster is responsible for maintaining the station’s website. Which
includes promoting a favorable image of the station at all times, updating the site with
information, and devising new ways to enhance the site.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be capable of web design and have knowledge
of basic web software (Microsoft FrontPage). Creativity and a digital camera will be
helpful. This position is open to all candidates in good academic standing.
