Helpful Tips for Practicing Sight Words 1. Highlight or check off all the words your child can read. 2. Make flash cards with the words your child is having trouble with. Practice these words over and over again. 3. Find sight words on street signs, in magazines or newspapers, on cereal boxes, etc. 4. Play sight word bingo. For your convenience, two different types of blank tables can be found at the bottom to help in creating your cards. Insert the words that you would like your child to practice into the blank slots. More than one card can be created so that other family members can play along to assist your child in learning his/her words. B I N G O B I N G O
