   Pre Startup Checklist


Battery Connected

Fuel Line (valves) open for correct
fuel
Check Oil

Check Engine Coolant

Check Belts

Fuel Flow Meter is plugged in




   Pre Shut Down Checklist


Cleanout System with Diesel or
B20 (if vegetable oil was ran last)
Fuel Line (valves) open for correct
fuel (Diesel or B20)
Run Shut Down Process



   Post Shut Down Checklist


Disconnect Battery

Unplug Fuel Flow Meter
Pre Startup
   1.     Login to the Computer
   2.     Go to Start/Programs/Cell Assistant/Cell Assistant
   3.     Open Cell Assistant
   4.     Turn on the Exhaust Fan
   5.     Turn on Main Power to Dyne
   6.     In Cell Assistant go to File/Open/Buckmaster
   7.     Turn on Power to Dyne controls
   8.     In Cell Assistant click on RUN (Take device offline if you have to)
   9.     Type in name of operator (Click Ok)
   10.    Enter a Data Filename (ex. Regular Diesel Test 1) (Click Ok)
   11.    Make sure computer screen VIP is up
   12.    Dyne control panel press POWER ON
   13.    On the Dyne throttle controls press FAULT RESET and CANCEL to reset throttle
          controls
   14.    On Dyne throttle controls press MANUAL/ON
   15.    On Dyne Power settings make sure MASTER is selected

Startup
   1. Set throttle control to 10% press 100/ENTER
   2. Dyne power controls select RPM
   3. set selector 1 to 500 rpm and make ACTIVE
   4. Press DYNE ON
   5. Wait for rpm’s to reach 500
   6. IGNITION ON
   7. DYNE OFF
   8. Let Engine warm up (If engine is warm go to HIGH IDLE)

Warm up Cycle
  1. Let run on 10% for 5 min
  2. Set throttle control to 50% press 500/ENTER
  3. Let run for 2.5 min.
  4. Set selector 1 to 1700 rpm and make ACTIVE
  5. make sure RPM is selected on the power control panel
  6. DYNE ON
  7. Let run for 2.5 min.
  8. Set throttle control to 75% press 750/ENTER
  9. Let run for 5 min.
  10. Set throttle control to 100% press 1000/ENTER
  11. let run 1 min
  12. DYNE OFF
  13. RECORD THAT WARM UP CYCLE WAS DONE

   If continuing to HIGH IDLE immediately continue, if not set throttle control to 10%
   press100/ENTER
High Idle

   1.   Set Throttle (ex. 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%)
   2.   Wait until rpm’s stabilize
   3.   Set selector 1 to 0000 and make ACTIVE
   4.   Press TORQUE
   5.   DYNE ON
   6.   Wait 30 sec.
   7.   Take a SNAPSHOT of the Data
   8.   RECORD HIGH IDLE
   9.   DYNE OFF

   If continuing to TESTING immediately continue, if not set throttle control to 10%
   press100/ENTER

Testing

   1. Set Throttle (ex. 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%)
   2. Set selector 1 to highest odd rpm lower than HIGH IDLE and make ACTIVE
      (ex HIGH IDLE 2555rpm, Set 2500rpm)
   3. Press RPM

   4.   DYNE ON
   5.   Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 2 to next rpm to test ex. 2300)
   6.   Log at 1 Hz
   7.   Wait 30 sec.
   8.   Stop Periodic Logging
   9.   RECORD this rpm setting on chart

   10. ACTIVATE selector 2
   11. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 1 to next rpm to test ex. 2100)
   12. Log at 1 Hz
   13. Wait 30 sec.
   14. Stop Periodic Logging
   15. RECORD this rpm setting on chart

   16. ACTIVATE selector 1
   17. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 2 to next rpm to test ex. 1900)
   18. Log at 1 Hz
   19. Wait 30 sec.
   20. Stop Periodic Logging
   21. RECORD this rpm setting on chart
22. ACTIVATE selector 2
23. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 1 to next rpm to test ex. 1700)
24. Log at 1 Hz
25. Wait 30 sec.
26. Stop Periodic Logging
27. RECORD this rpm setting on chart

28. ACTIVATE selector 1
29. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 2 to next rpm to test ex. 1500)
30. Log at 1 Hz
31. Wait 30 sec.
32. Stop Periodic Logging
33. RECORD this rpm setting on chart

34. ACTIVATE selector 2
35. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 1 to next rpm to test ex. 1300)
36. Log at 1 Hz
37. Wait 30 sec.
38. Stop Periodic Logging
39. RECORD this rpm setting on chart

40. ACTIVATE selector 1
41. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 2 to next rpm to test ex. 1100)
42. Log at 1 Hz
43. Wait 30 sec.
44. Stop Periodic Logging
45. RECORD this rpm setting on chart

46. ACTIVATE selector 2
47. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 1 to next rpm to test ex. 900)
48. Log at 1 Hz
49. Wait 30 sec.
50. Stop Periodic Logging
51. RECORD this rpm setting on chart

52. ACTIVATE selector 1
53. Wait 30 sec. (While waiting set selector 2 to next rpm to test ex. 0000)
54. Log at 1 Hz
55. Wait 30 sec.
56. Stop Periodic Logging
57. RECORD this rpm setting on chart
   58. DYNE OFF
   59. Set throttle control to 10% 100/ENTER
   60. Run Cool Down process
   61. Click on End Test
   62. In Cell Assistant Select Control/Stop Data Acquisition
   From here go to DOING NEXT TEST or SHUT DOWN

Cool Down

   1. Set throttle control to 0% (Idle)
   2. Let Idle of 5min
   3. RECORD Cool Down on chart

Doing Next Test

   1.   In Cell Assistant click on RUN
   2.   Type in name of operator (Click Ok)
   3.   Enter a Filename (Click Ok)
   4.   (If the engine shut itself down), press FAULT RESET and CANCEL to reset throttle
        controls
   5.   On Dyne throttle controls press MANUAL/ON
   6.   On Dyne Power settings make sure MASTER is selected
   7.   If engine shut off go to STARTUP and if engine warm not necessary to do WARM-UP
        CYCLE process
   8.   If engine still running continue to HIGH IDLE


Shut Down

   1. Make sure Hydrogen Assist is turned off
   2. Make sure Diesel Fuel or B20 was last fuel used
   3. Set throttle control to 0% 0/ENTER (Idle)
   4. Let Idle until EGT’s reach 140’s
   5. IGNINTION OFF
   6. Wait for engine to shut down
   7. Shut off Main Power to Dyne
   8. Wait 5 min. then shut off Exhaust Fan
   9. Dyne control panel press POWER OFF
   10. Shut off Exhaust Fan
   11. Shut down Computer
      Enter High Idle rpm’s and use table to check off the warm up and cool downs and to keep track
      what rpm settings have been run
