Wuz Up?

TEA Party – Taxed Enough Already Party - April 15 4 pm Ka’ahumanu & Kahului Beach road.
TEA parties are going on simultaneously all over the Nation! Join us for a peaceful display of
solidarity against more tax increases. Call friends & enemies & see about carpooling there or
being dropped off. You’ll see many familiar faces there!

Well, by today you’ll either have your taxes done or filed for extensions.
Were YOU at the TEA* party Wednesday (*Taxed Enough Already)?

By what percent were YOU Patriotic by? Let Joe Biden know.
                                                                                                                 2
How many months into the year do you work to pay your taxes, before your paycheck is all
yours???
It used to be true that after April 15 th, your paycheck was yours. Many of us doing the math realize
that we’re working 6-7 months out of the year before our paychecks are truly ours. (Add the%
you pay for State & Federal … plus some extra for the excise tax on everything you have to buy/use
to live: Utilities, gasoline, groceries, medical, travel, etc.

Stop all your health food & vitamins; IRA’s & investments, and mortgages NOW.
The government’s here to help you.

Under “Shameless Self Promotion” : “Maui Weekly” editor & General Manager mentions the paper
was awarded a 2009 Pa’i Award from the Hawaii Publisher’s Association, and 3 rd place for Non-Daily
Newspaper Excellence for the State of Hawaii. Congratulate Debra & Sarah next time you see them.
And kudos to newbie Melanie who’s just joined the “Maui Weekly” group.

First- Is it the truth?
Second- Is it fair to all concerned?
