Susan Page Davis is a former news correspondent who published her first novel at the age of fifty. Her husband, Jim, is an editor at a daily newspaper. They are the parents of six children, all homeschooled, and have five grandchildren. Susan loves reading, writing, history and horses. She writes books in several categories: historical romance, cozy mystery, young adult and romantic suspense.Her first two books for Love Inspired Suspense, Just Cause (January 2008) and Witness (April 2008), are set in Susan's beautiful home state of Maine. She has also published short stories in Woman's World, Grit and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and writes cozy mystery novels with her daughter, Megan Elaine Davis.Susan's first published book, Protecting Amy, earned her the title of Favorite New Author of 2004 in the Heartsong Presents Book Club. Her historical novel, The Prisoner's Wife won the Short Historical Category of the 2007 Inspirational Readers' Choice Contest and was awarded Favorite Historical of 2006 at Heartsong. This book, as well as her fantasy for young people, Feather, were finalists in the 2007 Book of the Year Contest, sponsored by the American Christian Fiction Writers.
