                              Tuesday 8 July 2008
An event hosted by the British Consulate-General, The Climate Change Projects Office (CCPO), BERR London and UK
Trade & Investment (UKTI), with support from the Climate Change Business Forum, the Federation of Hong Kong
Industries and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Are you confused by the rapid developments in the evolving carbon market business? If so, this event provides an
opportunity for you to learn about the latest international developments and to meet leading carbon market
businesses based in the UK who will be visiting Hong Kong. A seminar on 8 July will be followed by a ‘business dating’
opportunity during which you will be able to exchange business cards or register for one-to-one business meetings to
be held on 9 July.

The participating companies provide a range of project development, financial, legal and other services related to the
climate change industry, including emissions trading, the development of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM)
projects, the brokerage of clean energy products, carbon fund management and environmental risk management and
certification. Alderman David Lewis, Lord Mayor of The City of London, will be a keynote speaker outlining London’s
dominant global financial centre for carbon market services.
