							What do we know about The Devil?

          Does he exist?
     Does he have any power?
     What can he do to you?
           Where is he?
     Can you limit his work?
    Does he have a forked tail?
What does the Bible say about him?

           Matthew 4:1
   Then was Jesus led up of the
   Spirit into the wilderness to
     be tempted of the devil.
    Jesus believed he existed.
What does the Bible say about him?

            Revelation 12:9
  And the great dragon was cast out,
   that old serpent, called the Devil,
    and Satan, which deceiveth the
   whole world: he was cast out into
  the earth, and his angels were cast
              out with him.
  He will get his reward in the end.
What caused the downfall of Lucifer
               (Satan) ?
                 Pride
           Isaiah 14:13-14
 For you have said in your heart:
     I will ascend into heaven,
  I will exalt my throne above the
            stars of God;
 I will also sit on the mount of the
congregation On the farthest sides
             of the north.

            Ezekiel 28:11-13
 Son of man, take up a lamentation for
the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus

You were the seal of perfection, Full of
    wisdom and perfect in beauty.
 You were in Eden, the garden of God.

               Satan?
How could the King of Tyre have been
      in the garden of Eden?

       This may have related to
          the King of Tyre,
  but it must also relate to someone
   who was in the Garden of Eden.

   you on the day you were created.

v14 You were the anointed cherub who
      covers; I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst
           of fiery stones.

           personally ?
He was created as a musical instrument
        and he was anointed.
  He was heaven's worship leader.

       Can you see now, why
  there is such spiritual opposition
             to worship?
         So who is Satan?

v15 You were perfect in your ways
from the day you were created, Till
    iniquity was found in you.

Satan is a created being - not God.

     Then he sinned - Pride.
           So who is Satan?

v16 By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as
a profane thing Out of the mountain of
 God; And I destroyed you, O covering
                cherub.
           So who is Satan?

He became full of pride because he did
  so much for God, he thought God
      couldn't do without him.

  There is a lesson there for all of us.
     So who is Satan?

He was the covering cherub.
An archangel of God.
God had three archangels.
Gabriel - The Messenger of God.
Michael - The Warrior of God.
Lucifer - The Worship Leader.
         So who is Satan?

v17 Your heart was lifted up because
 of your beauty; You corrupted your
     wisdom for the sake of your
             splendour.


       Satan forgot one thing.
         So who is Satan?

His beauty was only a reflection of
          God's beauty.

    We are in the same place.

          Jesus said:
 Without me ye can do nothing.
         (John 15:5)
          So who is Satan?

 Satan still tries to play the beauty
                 card.
       2 Corinthians 11:13-15
 For such are false apostles, deceitful
workers, transforming themselves into
 apostles of Christ. And no wonder!
    For Satan himself transforms
    himself into an angel of light.
       Jesus saw this happen.

            Luke 10:18-19
   And he said unto them, I beheld
 Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
 Then He gave us authority over this
             fallen angel.
  Behold, I give unto you power to
tread on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy: and
nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  Don't fall into the deception trap.

          2 Corinthians 11:3
   But I fear, lest somehow, as the
    serpent deceived Eve by his
  craftiness, so your minds may be
corrupted from the simplicity that is
               in Christ.
We have the Bible to check things out,
             Eve did not.
       We have no real excuse.
What stops Satan from being fully free
        to deceive everyone ?
        2 Thessalonians 2:3-8
  3 Let no one deceive you by any
  means; for that Day will not come
 unless the falling away comes first,
and the man of sin is revealed, the son
             of perdition.
   Do not let anyone deceive you.
             It is a choice.
What stops Satan from being fully free

V4-5 who opposes and exalts himself
 above all that is called God or that is
  worshiped, so that he sits as God in
  the temple of God, showing himself
that he is God. Do you not remember
  that when I was still with you I told
           you these things?
 Remember Isaiah 14?       I will .......
What stops Satan from being fully free
        to deceive everyone ?
  v6-7 And now you know what is
restraining, that he may be revealed
 in his own time. For the mystery of
lawlessness is already at work; only
He who now restrains will do so until
      He is taken out of the way.
     Who is restraining Satan?
           The Holy Spirit.
 What stops Satan from being fully free
         to deceive everyone ?
        The Holy Spirit is in us.
  So until we all go to be with Jesus in
               Heaven .....
          He is restrained by us.
   v8 And then the lawless one will be
 revealed, whom the Lord will consume
with the breath of His mouth and destroy
    with the brightness of His coming.
 So why all this talk about Lucifer or
                Satan ?
When Freemasons join, and until they
reach the Third Degree, they are kept
in the dark about what Freemasonry
          is really all about.

 As they get higher, they finally find
            out the truth.

           In their doctrine
       they call Lucifer - God.
      Yes - They worship Satan.
So why the setsquare and compass ?
 They call God - the Great Architect.

     worshipped by Christians.

     These are deceived people.
 They need our help and compassion.

 We can pray in tongues for them.

     looking for the mercy of our
  Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
     What can we do about it?

v22-23 And of some have compassion,
         making a difference:
      And others save with fear,
     pulling them out of the fire;
       hating even the garment
         spotted by the flesh.
