                              BREWER’S WRAP -UP
Our Brewer trip went off almost without a hitch. We left DePere missing 3 people, but they
caught up with us when we stopped in Appleton, so all 26 were on board. Arriving at Miller Park,
we set up our tailgate and the other 5 we were meeting there showed up. Cooking up our brats
and burgers as well as serving up the dishes-to-pass, we all enjoyed a warm, sunny, if not windy,
tailgate party. We went in to the stadium and watched Yovanni Gallardo shut out the Atlanta
Braves through 7&1/3 innings with Todd Coffey finishing out the scoreless inning. With a lead of
2-0, the Brewers scored 2 more runs in the bottom of the 8th, so we had just one disappointment.
We did not get to hear Hell’s Bells play. Not being a save situation, Trevor Hoffman sat down in
the bullpen and Mitch Stetter finished out a scoreless 9th to give the brewers a 4-0 shutout victory.
So homeward we went vowing that next time, “More Bud Lite”.
