2nd European Survey of RI

Background
•   EuroHORCs decide to survey their own
    national RI with the aim of identifying
    opportunities for trans-national
    cooperation in operation and
    construction and in standards in access
    policies.
•   EuroHORCs ask ESF to undertake an
    inventory of RI as a basis for strategy
    discussions.
•   EC decide to launch 2nd RI Survey.

Background
•   EuroHORCs, ESF and EC decide to work
    together on a single survey.
•   Joint questionnaire developed and
    circulated.
•   The Survey focuses on existing RI and is
    therefore complimentary to, and not
    overlapping, the ESFRI Road-Mapping
    activity.
