									Tufts Career Services Recruiting Policy
By submitting information to the Tufts Recruiting Program or the Tufts Career Connect system, you agree to the following guidelines and policies. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in immediate loss of privilege to use the recruiting program, and in some cases, disciplinary action by the Dean of Students. Please READ before participating in the Recruiting Program or other events sponsored by Career Services. • I understand that by submitting materials through the Tufts Career Connect system I give Tufts Career Services permission to forward my resume and supporting materials to employers for consideration of employment. I confirm that all information I provide through resumes, letters, transcripts, and in interviews is totally factual and truthful. Misinformation is considered unethical behavior and is cause for revocation of recruiting privileges and disciplinary action by the Dean of Students. Examples of misrepresentation include GPA inflation, exaggerated job responsibilities, or overstated foreign language competency. Once I accept an interview with an employer and sign up for an interview time, I am required to take the interview. Failure to cancel a scheduled interview at least one business day in advance will be viewed as a “no-show” and my access to the recruiting program and Tufts Career Connect will be revoked immediately. Reinstatement into the program is at the discretion of the Director of Career Services. Multiple “no-shows” for interviews will result in the termination of recruiting program privileges. Once I accept a job offer, I will stop all further interviewing and notify employers with whom I have an offer or interview pending. [NOTE: It is UNACCEPTABLE to accept and then decline an offer! It damages the relationship between the employer and Tufts University. If you are having difficulty making a decision about an offer, we encourage you to discuss your situation with a Career Counselor prior to making a decision.] I understand that Tufts Career Services reserves the right to remove poor quality resumes and letters before sending to an employer without notifying me ahead of time. I understand that it is strongly recommended that I have my resume and letter critiqued by a staff member.
