• Coverage reimburses you for the loss of your trip cost if you cancel before departure due to illness, injury to you, your traveling companion or an immediate family member or if an immediate family member dies. Coverage also includes reimbursement due to bad weather, delayed or cancelled flights. • Up to $10,000 – Medical Expenses: (Secondary Insurance) Covers necessary medical expenses up to one year after the sickness or injury provided you received initial treatment while on your trip. (Increase medical expenses from $10,000 to $35,000 per person by purchasing the “Optional Medical Coverage”). (See table above). Up to $100,000- Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation of Remains: Covers evacuation and transportation due to an injury or illness and will pay for medical evacuation to the nearest western medical facility and home if necessary. Up to $750 - Trip Delay: Reimburses up to $150 a day for reasonable, additional meals and accommodations if your trip is delayed for more than 12 hours due to inclement weather or an airline problem.
