Global Clean Energy Holdings, Inc. (GCEH) is an energy agri-business focused on the development of non-food based bio-fuel feedstock. GCEH has development and operations capabilities, which it provides for its own energy farms, as well as farms it operates via joint venture arrangements. As of December 31, 2009, the Company's principal business activities included planting, cultivation, harvesting and processing of Jatropha, to generate seed oils and biomass for use in the bio-fuels industry, including the production of bio-diesel and green diesel. On July 2, 2009, the Company acquired Technology Alternatives, Limited (TAL), which has developed a farm in Belize for cultivation of the Jatropha plant. TAL has also developed a nursery capable of producing Jatropha seedlings and rooted cuttings, and provides technical advisory services for the propagation of the Jatropha plant.
