Firstgold's principal assets include various mineral leases associated with the Relief Canyon Mine located near Lovelock, Nevada, along with various items of mining equipment and improvements located at that site. The Company has also staked claims on approximately 4,200 acres of land at the Horse Creek exploration project near Winnemucca, Nevada; claims on approximately 3,300 acres of land located at the Honorine Gold exploration project near Winnemucca, Nevada, and claims on approximately 2,300 acres of land at its Fairview-Hunter exploration project, near Fairview, Nevada. In January 2010, the Company announced that it filed for Chapter 11 protection under the United States Bankruptcy Code.
