Arts & Crafts
Minimum: 6 Maximum: 15
Different art projects using a variety of supplies will be incorporated during
this class. Drawing, painting, and crafts are some of the art formats covered.

Arts Live Theatre
Minimum: 6 Maximum: 15
Have fun discovering the basics of acting including pantomime, improvisation
and the tools of an actor through games and exercises. Participants will write
their own play and perform it for family and friends on the last day of the
camp. Theatre is a great way to use your imagination, gain confidence and
learn to express yourself in a new way!
Grades: 2nd-7th

Baseball / Softball
Minimum: 6 Maximum: 15
Participants will learn the basics of throwing, fielding, and batting. Rules of
the game will also be taught. Participants will be prepared to take part in the
youth baseball league provided by Fayetteville Youth Baseball, Inc. or the
youth softball league provided by Fayetteville Parks & Recreation. Each
participant must provide their own softball glove. Cleats are recommended.

Basic basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and rules
will be taught. Participants will be prepared to take part in the youth
basketball league provided by the Boys & Girls Club.

1st Annual Player Development Basketball Camp
 Minimum: 40            Maximum: 100
 J.D. Parker, Head Men's Basketball Coach of Ecclesia College in Springdale, is
partnering with the Fayetteville Boys & Girls Club for the 1st Annual Player
Development Basketball Camp. Camp staff will include both current and former
college players and area coaches. The entire week of camp will focus
on individual offensive skill development. Participants will learn a variety of
offensive skills and techniques daily. At the conclusion of camp, each participant
will be given a skill development work-out. The camp is open to boys and girls of
all skill levels. Participants of all ages and skill levels will be challenged
throughout the week to improve. If you have any questions, feel free to

3rd Annual “Brew Crew” Basketball Camp
Minimum: 100 Maximum: 300
Ronnie Brewer, of the Utah Jazz and Razorback Alum, is hosting the 3rd Annual
“Brew Club” Basketball Camp. Camp is open to both girls and boys. Participants
will take part in basic basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting,
defense and will also compete. In addition, their will be an educational
component to remind participants about the importance of education, healthy
eating habits, dedication, and sportsmanship.
Grades: 3rd-11th

Football

Participants will be prepared to take part in the youth football league provided
by the Boys & Girls Club. The clinics will teach fundamentals of the game of
football, including blocking, tackling, passing, catching, and all introductory
aspects of the game. Participants are required to have a mouthpiece and cleats
are recommended.

Healthy Kids (Cooking and FitKids)
Minimum: 6 Maximum: 15
This program will teach the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
Participants will learn healthy ways of cooking nutritious meals and learn how
to take part in a safe and effective exercise program. The program will be 2-
weeks long and will vary between time in the classroom, kitchen, and fitness
center.
Grades: 1st-7th

Hook a Kid on Golf
Minimum: 6 Maximum: 25
This is a beginner golf program for participants who have never played golf
before. It is an introductory clinic that will include instruction in the basics of
the game. Swing fundamentals, chipping and putting fundamentals, as well as
rules & etiquette will be taught. Each participant will receive a starter set of
clubs and golf bag, and other golf items needed to begin play. This program
requires participants to register at least 3 weeks before the start of the
program in order to allow for ordering equipment.

Participants will learn basic swim strokes in a fun friendly atmosphere. Along

Recreation programming for all individuals. The facility will be utilized fully to
provide opportunities for these individuals.

Pottery

Participants will learn the fundamentals of pottery, including how to mold,
shape, and paint clay. Then, they will have their artwork fired in our kiln for a
take-home masterpiece.

Rock Climbing

The basics of the climbing wall will be taught. Participants will work on
climbing techniques, belaying, and rappelling. Participants will need to wear
closed-toe shoes.

School Kids Connection
Minimum: 15 Maximum: 60/site
This program is an option for parents who are looking for a traditional licensed
summer program for their children. This program will be held at 3 auxiliary
sites: Vandergriff Elementary, Owl Creek School, & Holcomb Elementary. Fun
daily activities as well as a lunch program will be offered. There will be a low
child/staff ratio at each site.
Grades: Kindergarten-6th
Dates: June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24,
July 27-July 31, August 3-7, August 10-14

Basic soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, scoring, defense, and rules will be
taught. A strong emphasis will be placed on 1st touch. Participants will be
prepared to take part in the youth soccer league provided by Fayetteville Parks
& Recreation. Shin guards are required.

This class will focus on teaching beginning Spanish skills to participants. Basic,
everyday vocabulary, phrases, and Spanish history and culture will be taught.
Taking this course will help participants prepare for taking Spanish in school.
