CAE Inc. (CAE) provides simulation and modeling technologies and integrated training services. CAE designs, manufactures and supplies simulation equipment and services and develop integrated training solutions for the military, commercial airlines, business aircraft operators, aircraft manufacturers, healthcare education and service providers and the mining industry. CAE also operates a global network of training centers in locations worldwide. It operates in four segments: Simulation Products/Civil (SP/C), Simulation Products/Military (SP/M), Training & Services/Civil (TS/C) and Training & Services/Military (TS/M). During the year ended December 31, 2010, CAE acquired Bell Aliant's Defence, Security and Aerospace (DSA) business unit; acquired Seaweed Systems Inc. (Seaweed); acquired ICCU Imaging Inc. (ICCU), and acquired VIMEDIX Virtual Medical Imaging Training Systems Inc. (VIMEDIX). In 2011, CAE acquired RTI International's Technology Assisted Learning (TAL) business unit.
