PROJECT DESCRIPTION
CITIC Pacific Mining's Sino Iron project is a world class,
large-scale magnetite iron ore project, approximately
100km South West of Karratha and is the first of its kind in
Western Australia. It is bringing innovative, new mining
processes to this country and is the first iron ore project to
include large scale downstream processing.

The Sino Iron project will be a highly technical, value-
adding operation requiring significant processing and
transport infrastructure.

The award of the AUD$120M Scaffolding Contract for the
supply and installation of scaffolding to Modern Access
Services is evidence of the management team’s capability
of securing and executing large and technically demanding
projects in the Pilbara region of WA.

The work will be completed over a 4 year period with a
peak workforce of approximately 450 people and a total
scaffold material requirement of 5,100 tonne.
