Commander of the faithful “Jamie Tirmidhi” Father of the Soil (k.u.w) in the light of hadiths narrated in Jamie Tirmidhi by Imam Abu Isa Muhammad bin Isa Tirmidhi (13th rajab 279), translated in Urdu by Allama Muhammad Sadiq Saeedi Hazarwi . Household of Muhammad (p.b.u.h): 1. Jamie Tirmidhi in the Chapter “Manaqib Ahlul-Bayt, Vol. 2, p.736’, No 1761. citing Umar ibn Abi Salama, the Prophet's adopted son, who said "The verse, 'Allah only wants to remove uncleanness far from you, O people of Ahlul-Bait, and purify you a thorough purifying' was revealed in the house of Umm Salamah. Then the Prophet (p.b.u.h) called Fatima, Hasan, Husain and Ali, behind himself, covered them with a cover and said: 'O Allah! This is my household, so remove uncleanness from them and purify them a thorough purifying. Umm Salamah said:' Am I with them, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: You are at your place. You are all right.'" Most beloved of Allah: 2. Anas Bin Malik narrates that once when the Prophet (S) sat down to eat a fowl that had been prepared for his dinner, he prayed to God:” My God, bring the most beloved of your creatures, that he may eat this fowl with me." Then `Ali (A) came and the Prophet ate with him. (Jamie Tirmidhi volume: II, Chapter: 574, 1655) Believe In Islam: 3. Hazrat Anas Ibn Malik said: "The Messenger was commissioned on Monday and Ali believed in him on Tuesday." (Jamie Tirmidhi volume: II, Chapter: 579) Commander of the faithful “Jamie Tirmidhi” Master of every believer: 4. In Jamie Tirmidhi Chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) No : 1646 , relying on the isnad of `Imran ibn Hasin, the latter says, "The Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) dispatched an army under the command of `Ali ibn Abi Talib The campaign was carried out, and after that Four of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) pledged to complain against him to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) .With signs of anger on his holy face clearly visible, the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h) said to them, "What do you want from `Ali? `Ali is from me, and I am from `Ali and he is the master of every believer after me.". Fight for Islam: 5. In the Jamie Tirmidhi Chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) Rabbi bin Harris narrates that The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said: “There is amongst you a person who will fight for the religion (Islam).” The people around him raised their heads and cast inquisitive glances at the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and at one another. Abu Bakr (r.a) and Umar (r.a) were there. Abu Bakr (r.a) inquired about that person and Then Umar (r.a) asked the same question. Then Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) said “He is the one who is repairing my shoes “(i.e., Ali).".Hazrat Ali (k.u.w) was repairing the shoes of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) at that time. Door of Ali (k.u.w): 6. Hazrat Ibn-e-Abbas said that “The Prophet (a.s) ordered that except the door of `Ali’s house all other doors to be sealed.” (Jamie Tirmidhi volume: II, Chapter: 579, Hadith: 1665) ALI MAWLA: 7. In the chapter of Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) (Jamie Tirmidhi volume: II, No: 1647) Commander of the faithful “Jamie Tirmidhi” Narrated by Hazrat Zaid Bin Arqam: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When I am anyone's patron (mawla), Ali (k.u.w) is his patron (mawla) also." Brotherhood: 8. In Jamie Tirmidhi chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) page: 713 chap: 574. Hazrat Abdullah Bin Umar (r.a) narrates that When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) arranged brotherhoods among his companions, Ali came weeping and said, "You have arranged brotherhoods among your companions, but you have arranged no brotherhood between me and anyone." He replied, "You are my brother in this world and hereafter." . Door of wisdom: 9. In Jamie Tirmidhi Chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) Vol.II, Chap; 575, page: 714 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib (k.u.w) Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "I am the house of wisdom and Ali is its door." Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition, adding that some transmit this tradition on Sharik's authority without mentioning regarding it that it is transmitted on as-Sunabihi's authority. He said the only reliable authority from whom he knew this tradition was Sharik. Allah’s Conversation: 10. In Jamie Tirmidhi Narrated by Jabir (r.a) in the chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) Vol.II, Chap; 577, page: 715 "On the day Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) sent Ali to at-Ta'if, he called him and spoke in private to him." The people said, "He has had a long private conversation with his cousin," and Allah's Messenger (p.b.u.h) replied, "It was not I but Allah who had a private conversation with him." Meaning that By the order of Allah I did this. Commander of the faithful “Jamie Tirmidhi” State of Ceremonial: 11. Narrated by Abu Sa’id Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said to Ali, "It is not allowable for anyone but you or me to be in a state of ceremonial in this mosque." Ali ibn al-Mundhir told that he asked Dirar ibn Surad what was the meaning of this tradition, and he replied that the meaning was, "It is not allowable for anyone but you or me to walk through." (Jamie Tirmidhi Vol-II, Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w), Chap; 578) hasan gharib tradition. Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a Love Affection: 12. In Jamie Tirmidhi chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) vol.II, page 718 & 719 Narrated by Umm Atiyyah Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) sent off an army of which Ali was a member, and that she heard Allah's Messenger say with his arms upraised, "O Allah, do not cause me to die before Thou let me to see Ali." Identify Hypocrite: 13. Narrated by Umm Salamah- in the Jamie Tirmidhi chapter Munaqib-e-Ali (k.u.w) vol.II, page 712 chapter: 571 Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "A hypocrite does not love Ali and a believer does not hate him." Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan tradition whose isnad is gharib. Ali (k.u.w) and Jesus (a): 14. Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 6093 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said to him, "You have a resemblance to Jesus whom the Jews hated so much that they slandered his mother and whom the Christians loved so much that they placed him in a position not rightly his." Commander of the faithful “Jamie Tirmidhi” Ali afterwards said, "Two people will perish on my account, one who loves me so excessively that he praises me for what I do not possess, and one who hates me so much that he will be impelled by his hatred to slander me." Pool of Khumm: 15. Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 6094 Arqam When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) alighted at the pool of Khumm, he took Ali by the hand and asked those present, "Do you not know that I am closer to the believers that they themselves?" They replied, "Certainly." He then asked, "Do you not know that I am nearer to every believer than he himself?" They replied, "Certainly." He then said, “Allah, he whose patron I am has Ali as his patron. O Allah, be friendly to those who are friendly to him and hostile to those who are hostile to him." After that Umar (r.a) met him and said, Narrated by Al-Bara' ibn Azib and Zayd ibn "Congratulations, son of AbuTalib. Morning and evening you are the patron of every believing man and woman." Believers love Ali (k.u.w): 16. Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 6091 Narrated by Umm Salamah Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "A hypocrite does not love Ali and a believer does not hate him." Ali pertains to Muhammad (p.b.u.h): 17. Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 6083 Narrated by Hubshi ibn Junadah Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Ali pertains to me and I pertain to Ali and no one will conclude anything on my behalf but myself or Ali." Inseparable: Commander of the faithful “Jamie Tirmidhi” Al Tirmidhi, in his Sahih, II, 297, records this tradition of the Prophet (p.b.u.h): Verily, `Ali and I are inseparable, and he is the master (wali) of every believer after me.
