LOCATION                           This project involved the construction of a coal unloading jetty for the Sual
Pangasinan, Philippines            Power Plant in Pangasinan, Northern Luzon, Philippines.

CLIENT                             The jetty structure is approximately 260 metres long and 23 metres wide;
Sual Slipform Construction         with an approach bridge approximately 70 metres long and six metres

                                   Construction of the jetty included the completion of 21 piles partly

                                   constructed by the client, and the construction of a further 47 cast in-situ

                                   piles with a diameter of two metres and a combined length of 1,800
                                   metres. All piles were socketed 5.7 metres into bedrock with total lengths
CONTRACT VALUE                     of up to 36 metres.
US$13 million
                                   The piles support a superstructure of in-situ longitudinal concrete beams
COMMENCEMENT                       1.9 metres wide and transverse beams with a width of 1.2 metres.

                                   The deck consists of precast trough beams and in-situ concrete
