Go to the online Animal Subjects Protection training at http://www.researchtraining.org. 1) All MTSU faculty, staff and students engaged in research with Animal subjects must complete on-line training in Animal subjects protections. This requirement also applies to all members of the IACUC and administrators supervising the IACUC. Training certificates must be on file with the Office of Sponsored Programs. 2) Researchers may use the on-line training above or any substantively similar training in responsible conduct of research (e.g., a professional conference on IACUC / research ethics / responsible conduct of research, or a discipline-specific workshop). For questions about whether a given event would qualify as satisfying MTSU's requirements contact the Office of Compliance. The Compliance Officer is available for class presentations or presentations to departments, as well as other requests. Please contact the Compliance Officer, Tara M.
