1.1 The facilities and services to be provided to the Lessee by the Lessor under this agreement will be subject to the Conditions of Hire
    attached to this contract. In signing this agreement the Lessee acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the Conditions of
    Hire and will abide by them.

1.2 The COHU30 - 3/2008 edition of the Conditions of Hire is applicable to this agreement.

1.3 The Lessor agrees to provide the facilities and services set out in paragraph 2 below, for the duration of the hire period and in
    consideration for the payment set out in paragraph 3 below.

      i)     Standard equipment supplied in each meeting venue is listed in the booking acknowledgement. Please advise of your additional
             technical requirements.
      ii)    Registration and information desks.
      iii)   Parking for the organisers/committee members (x 0)
      iv)    Venue(s) set-up (one set-up per room per day)
      v)     Loading dock facilities for the delivery and collection of event related equipment.

      Please advise of any additional requirements, for which the Adelaide Convention Centre would be pleased to provide a quote.


3.1 Full payment of projected costs is required on signature of the Acceptance of Hire Agreement Form. Please find the attached tax

3.2 All balances to be received within 7 (seven) days of completion of the event.

3.3 The Lessor reserves the right to cancel this provisional booking should the signed Acceptance of Hire Agreement and proof of
    payment of the tax invoice not be received by Wednesday, 26 November, 2008.

1.       Definitions:                                                                         4.   Catering

         1.1   In these Conditions, unless the context otherwise indicates:                        4.1    The Lessor retains the right to provide all catering. No food or beverage

               1.1.3 "ACC" means the premises of the Adelaide Convention Cente, or
                     any part thereof;                                                             4.3    The Lessee is required to advise the Lessor on final attendance
                                                                                                          numbers for catering purposes 3 (three) working days prior to the event.
               1.1.4 "Event" means the event specified in the Hire Agreement;                             This total will be regarded as the minimum guaranteed number and will

               1.1.5 "Agreement" means the agreement of hire entered into between
                     the Lessor and the Lessee;                                                    4.4    In the event that numbers exceed those specified in clause 4.3, the

      9.2   Neither the Lessee nor its agents shall, without the prior written consent   11.   Fire and Electricity

15.   Disposal of Property Left at ACC

      15.1 The Lessor accepts no responsibility for the safe keeping of any
           property left in any of the venues at the expiry of the hire period.

      15.2 If ACC collects and stores any such property it accepts no liability for
           such safe keeping and the Lessee will be liable to pay the Lessor's
           charges for removing that property and storing it.

      15.3 If the Lessee fails to pay the Lessor's removal and storage charges
           within seven (7) days of the presentation of a tax invoice, the Lessor
           may sell the property concerned and set off the proceeds of the sale
           against any sums owing to the Lessor.

16.   Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare

      16.1 The Lessee shall use the ACC in such a way that it is at all times
           maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

      16.2 The Lessee agrees to comply with all the South Australian
           Government’s Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare (OHSW)

      16.3 The Lessee shall ensure that its agents and subcontractors sign and
           comply with the conditions detailed in the Lessor’s OHSW Agreement.
           The Lessor reserves the right to refuse entry to the agent or contractor
           if these conditions are not fully complied with.

17.   Cession, Transfer or Sub Lease

      17.1 The Lessee shall not, without prior written consent of the Lessor, the
           grant of which shall be at the Lessor's sole and absolute discretion:

             17.1.1        cede or transfer any of its rights or assign any of its
                           obligations under this Agreement;

             17.1.2        sub let the Venue or any part thereof to anyone who is not
                           a party to this Agreement.

18.   Joint and Several Liability

      If the Lessee is more than one person or body, those persons or bodies shall
      be jointly and severally liable to the Lessor in terms of these Conditions and
      the Hire Agreement.
