34 ROLLING OUT PLANS TO ENHANCE RECOVERY AT PDO
As black oil production levels at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) stabilise at around 650,000 barrels per day, the company is looking to employ Enhanced Oil Recovery technologies to take production levels back up to 800,000 bpd by 2010. ‘Shell in the Middle East’ reports on those technologies... Shell Arabia Car Services Ltd opened its new Service Plus car service centre earlier this year in Riyadh, with more to come by the end of the year...

Shell Chemicals Arabia has a 50 per cent share in the Saudi Petrochemical Company (Sadaf), which produces a wide range of products sold worldwide. Shell’s share of these products is sold through the Sadaf Business Unit. Aman Amanpour, President of Shell Chemicals Arabia and a Member of the Board at Sadaf, explains how it works, “as the Middle East becomes ever more the centre for the production and export of base chemicals for the rest of the world”...
