Christian Montessori School of Ann Arbor’s 8th
Annual Auction Gala!
Our Auction is a wonderful opportunity to gather
as a community and to celebrate the spirit of
Christian Montessori. All of the people who make
up our community - our teachers, parents,
students, and administrators – have all been called
together because we believe in our children. We
believe in giving all we are and all we have to our
children’s education. We believe our own future is
in their hands and that they deserve our very best.
These lofty beliefs can only be made possible be-
cause of each of you—our parents and friends—
who do so much to make CMSAA such a special
place.
The Auction—the elegant event, the fabulous bid
items, the extraordinary entertainment—is all
arranged by the families of our community. On
behalf of CMSAA, I would like to extend a heart-
felt thank you to those individuals who have
worked to make this auction a spectacular evening.
We are also grateful for the generosity shown by so
many community businesses who have donated
items; we encourage you to support them as they
support us.
This year’s Auction theme, Swing into Spring,
provides an ideal environment to gather in fellow-
ship and rejoice in the growth of our school and
community. Beyond the opportunity to have a
great time, the auction provides crucial financial
support to CMSAA—support that allows us to hire
and retain the very best teachers, prepare to expand
the school, and ensure that tuition is affordable for
families regardless of their economic situation.
Your generosity—your partnership—is so important!
Thank you for joining us, and thank you for your
support. There are many children, and many
families who you are blessing this evening.

We hope you have a wonderful time!

Erin Milligan
Head of School
        Auction Rules
1. Please check in and use only the bidder
   number assigned to you.

2. Enter silent auction bids by writing your
bidder number next to your desired bid
on the bid sheet. The highest bidder at
the close of the silent auction wins the
   item.

3. Many silent auction items have a
“Guaranteed Bid” option. You may win
one of these items immediately by
entering your bidder number in the
―Guaranteed Bid” box at the bottom of the
bid sheet. Once the “Guaranteed Bid” has
been met, no further bids will be
   accepted.

4. Only an authorized CMSAA official may
nullify a bid. Any disputes will be settled
by our auctioneer in a quick live auction
   manner.

5. Payment in full must be made by the end
of the evening. Checks are the preferred
method of payment. Visa and Master-
   Card will also be accepted.

6. All auction items must be removed from
   Washtenaw Community College by the
   end of the event.

7. All sales are final. Auction items may not
be exchanged or returned to the donor
   except where specified.

8. Values of items are the donor’s estimates
and are not warranted by CMSAA for tax
purposes or general use. CMSAA makes
no expressed or implied warranties on
auction items other than those from the
   manufacturer. Unless otherwise speci-
fied, all auction items and services must
be used by April 5, 2009.

9. We encourage you to bid high and bid
often! Each item offered is a
   contribution from a generous auction
donor, and every dollar bid benefits
CMSAA students. Thank you for your
   attendance and your support!
