METABALM WOUND GEL – 50 gm
Release the healing power of herbs with MetaBalm wound gel. The result of nine
years’ research, MetaBalm combines neem tree oil, aloe vera extract and various
natural ingredients. Apply to minor cuts, wounds, bruises, scratches, abrasions
and more.
Metabalm combines various active ingredients for simple, powerful wound
management. It may also assist in the management of eczema, dermatitis and
dry skin. Additionally, Metabalm can help to relieve the symptoms of psoriasis
and mild to moderate acne.
With neem tree oil
Since ancient times, oil from the neem tree has been renowned for its natural and powerful qualities. The
earliest medical writings in Sanskrit (one of the earliest languages in India) refer to the benefits of the
fruits, seeds, oil, leaves and bark of the neem tree. Today, the best established and most widely
recognized uses of neem oil are based on its general antiseptic qualities. In the past, Neem preparations
have been used for a variety of skin conditions - including burns, sores, boils, wounds, ulcers, and
eczema.
Aloe vera extract
Aloe vera contains enzymes, amino acids, vitamin C, and glycoproteins with important wound-healing
properties. Applied topically, aloe vera extract is known to assist with healing wounds.
...and tea tree oil
Used by Australian Aborigines for thousands of years to heal wounds, this complex essential oil contains
over 48 natural compounds. Tea tree oil is considered to be effective for a variety of conditions, including
abrasions, acne, allergic rashes, athlete’s foot, bed sores, cuts, dermatitis, hemorrhoids, wounds,
psoriasis, fungal infections, and many other skin conditions. Considered to be an excellent natural
antiseptic, it can help to promote antimicrobial activity against many infectious bacteria and fungi.

John Borowicki
Nursing Superintendent
I, Mr. John Borowicki, hereby give this testimonial to the product Metabalm-Wound Gel in my capacity as
the Nursing Superintendent, Victoria and also based on the fact that I have used this product on my
patients.
This product has been used in some of my patients at this Age care Centre with great success and I
hereby testimony some of the trials conducted on a few patients.
Patient: Mrs. W
Mrs. W is a 75-year-old resident who had pressure sores in her Left and Right Hip and heels. On
consultation with the resident’s family members, Metabalm Wound Gel was used on these wounds from
24.12.04. Within two months, the pressure sores were completely healed which would normally have
taken much longer time and more expensive medicines to resolve. During the entire treatment, no
infection was noticed and the use of antibiotics was reduced. This patient is not diabetic.
The photographs before, during and after the treatment follow.
Patient: Mrs. A
Mrs. A is an 84-year-old female resident who had a sacral wound measuring 70 mm X 30 mm for which
she was treated for more than 2 years without much success. Treatment with Metabalm-Wound Gel was
commenced on 24.12.04 with the dressings changed three times a week. The wound completely healed
by the sixth week.
I would also like to state that in my 35 years career in Nursing, I would rate this product very high
among other products as it is easy to apply, less expensive, heals faster thereby reducing the pain as
well as cost of treatment to the patient and their family.
Signed,
John Borowicki

Thank you for allowing me to participate in a trial using Metabalm-Wound Gel. I trialled this product on
two of my residents with different wounds, both were leg ulcers, but of varying degrees.
Resident #1
Resident 1 developed a leg ulcer on the outer aspect of his calf on 14/09/03; conventional treatments
had made little impact. I commenced a trial of Metabalm-Wound Gel and applied twice weekly from
28/10/03. In a two-week period, this wound fully resolved and follow up investigations showed no sign of
it returning.
Resident #2
Resident 2 was admitted to our facility with 1 large, 1 medium and 4 small ulcers on her left shin and
calf. Conventional treatments failed to resolve the wound, in fact the wound area increased and the
surrounding area showed inflammation. Both topical and oral medications were tried without success.
This resident also commenced treatment with Metabalm Wound Gel on 28/10/03. The wound treatment
included a dressing twice a week. By the end of the second week, the surrounding area was no longer
inflamed. The wound depth decreased and healthy granulation was seen which indicates that this wound
will resolve in a longer timeframe.
I am delighted that you allowed us to trial this product and I can see many benefits to my residents who
use this product. These benefits include a reduced healing time, cost effective wound management and
less frequent dressing changes (as opposed to daily dressing). From a personal perspective, it is
wonderful to know that the treatment I am using is totally natural.

I have completed a very successful trial using Metabalm Wound Gel manufactured by The Pharmaceutical
Plant Company P/L, Victoria 3153 on two of my residents who had persistent chronic wounds that were
difficult to heal.
The first of these residents was Mr. N who had two wounds that I was struggling to resolve. I had tried
several wound products (some of which were very costly) on these wounds but with no success.
I found that I could heal them to a certain point before they would again break down. Mr. N had an
ulcerated skin tear on his Left calf, which was first noted on 05/07/03. Metabalm-Wound Gel was applied
from 22/10/03 and the wound was fully resolved on 25/11/03.
Mr. N also had an ulcer on his Right calf (outer aspect) which was originally noted on 10/09/03 and the
treatment with Metabalm-Wound Gel started from 22/10/03 and this wound also fully healed on
22/11/03.
The second resident Mrs. M had an ulcerated skin tear below her right knee. Again, I tried several wound
products (also very costly) in an attempt to heal this wound, but repeatedly I found that I could heal this
ulcer to a certain stage before it would break down again. This wound was first noted on 30/05/03,
treatment with Metabalm-Wound Gel was commenced on 22/10/03, and the wound was fully resolved on
11/11/03.
I cannot explain my absolute delight with Metabalm Wound Gel; not only did it heal the afore mentioned
wounds, but I have since used it to treat other wounds on other residents, all of which appear to not only
be healing well, but taking a shorter amount time to heal.
This is not only a relief for the residents but also their relatives, knowing that their loved ones are not
only healing well but also in less time and with less financial expenses.
As a Nurse, this product not only cut down my work load, with fewer dressings to attend per shift now
that I have resolved many of them, but also the time it takes to do a dressing, allowing me time to
provide extra care to my residents.
