             Extension of Record Date for Share Purchase Plan

Innamincka Petroleum Limited is pleased to announce that it has extended the Record
Date for entitlement to participate in the Share Purchase Plan announced on 20 February
2007.

The Record Date has been extended to Friday 2 March 2007 and accordingly the Share
Purchase Plan is open to each shareholder registered as a holder of a share at 7:00pm
(AEST) on 2 March 2007.

The Share Purchase Plan documentation will be released to the ASX this afternoon.
