Tips for completing an application
• Read all instructions before you begin • Use ink--only blue or black ink—no gel pens • Never lie • Print clearly • If you must change something, don’t scribble—bring some white-out along
• Fill in everything • Use N/A or write “not applicable” if something does not apply to you • Remember the words “open” and “negotiable” when it comes to position or salary. You have a better chance of getting hired if you are flexible in these areas.

Questions you should ask
• What would my duties include? • Who are the other people I would work with? • What kind of schedule would I have? • What type of evaluations are included? • What promotion opportunities are available? • What would be expected from me as a new employee? • What qualities will be important for someone filling this position?
