Health Plans in Bristol South and West
Local people are being invited to come along and find out more about health services at the second annual public meeting for Bristol South and West Primary Care Trust on Thursday September 23 from 12 noon to 2pm. The event is being held at The Park, Daventry Road, Knowle West, Bristol and it provides a chance to find out about plans for the future and how the PCT works with other organisations to improve health services. The formal consultation for the overall Bristol Health Services Plan began on Monday September 13, and this will give local people, more information on plans for the area as well as the proposed South Bristol Community Hospital. Visitors to the event will also be able to ask questions about the PCT, which purchases and provides a full range of local health services. In the financial year covered by the annual public meeting, 2003-4 the trust was awarded two stars- an improvement on the previous year’s one year rating. The event will feature stands and displays as well as a question and answer session.
