HQ KFOR has an opening for two posts of “RSS Admin Assistant” to work in Pristina, Kosovo. The RSS Admin Assistant works in direct support to the KSF Recruitment, Screening and Selection Coordinator, assisting in selection process where eligible applicants for services are assigned to specific trades.
GENERAL DUTIES/BACKGROUND: (Full details for the position are reflected in the job description)
Assists in the administration of the office responsible for the KSF Selection process Manages electronic files and e-mail traffic. Informs supervisor in case of non-routine decisions requiring attention. Supports the administration of the team responsible for the selection. Supervise the administrative personnel of selection process to ensure that rules, regulations and processes are followed adequately. Incumbent must have a sound administrative background as a clerk preferably obtained during assignment as a staff in an international environment. Must have completion of secondary education Must have advanced knowledge in Standard Automated Data Processing: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc. The level of security clearance required is NATO Secret English language required is Good It is desirable to have recruitment services background.
The incumbent must be professional, experienced and reliable to complete required and additional tasks in a professional manner and within an acceptable period of time. KFOR offers the following conditions for this position: One year duration contract. € 4,672 monthly salary – Exempt from host country taxation Installation allowance in an amount of one-month salary (the allowance is 50% reimbursable if the incumbent leaves the appointment before completion of two years of service).

Two days of annual leave per month worked. 10 days of Official Holidays per year. Up to 7 days of Special Leave. Start of tour & End of tour - paid transportation to/from Kosovo (if at the time of recruitment the established residence is 300 km away. Van Breda International Medical Insurance – 50% paid by the Headquarters 50% by the incumbent - 69 Euros per month per part.

PART II - CE DUTIES A. Post Context: The RSS team will be the element assigned to DCOS MCA in KFOR HQs to facilitate the establishment of an effective KSF Recruitment, Screening and Selection process. The incumbent in current post is a senior non-commissioned officer in the MCA Division that is responsible for supporting and advising the KSF development of their own process and ensuring that it meets the ultimate objective of a multi-ethnic professional security force. The incumbent will work specifically to support the KSF Selection process where eligible applicant for service in the KSF are assigned to specific trades. B. Reports to: RSS Admin Chief (post KV RSS 104) C. Principal Duties: Assists in the administration of the office responsible for the KSF Selection process Manages electronic files and e-mail traffic. Informs supervisor in case of non-routine decisions requiring attention. Other related administrative duties as required.
