This is the full menu for my favorite local eatery, the Library Cafe in Seattle


The Library Café    BREAKFAST MENU Served 9:00 am until 3:00 pm Toast Choices: Whole Wheat, Rye, Sour Dough, White, English Muffin, or Biscuit French Toast The French Foreign Legion would charge across the Sahara all over again for our Challah Bread dipped in a delicious Cinnamon and Egg Batter. Comes with 2 Eggs cooked to order. Add Meat or Fruit for $1.50 $8.25 Pancakes Peter Pan found his happy thought with our light and fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes served with Maple Syrup. Comes with 2 Eggs cooked to order. Add Chocolate Chips for $0.75. Add Meat or Fruit for $1.50 $6.95 Jack’s Special Jack left the pail at home and skipped the fall to enjoy this wonderful Egg Scramble, cooked with Sausage Crumble, Spinach, Mushrooms, Onions and Garlic. Comes with Homestyle Potatoes & Choice of Toast $8.95 Jill’s Special Jill tumbled along in her own special way with an Egg Scramble that includes Spinach, Mushrooms, Onions, Garlic, and freshly ground Parmesan Cheese. Comes with Homestyle Potatoes & Choice of Toast $8.95 Eggs Benedict Humpty Dumpty would fall to pieces for this Poached Egg breakfast served on top of English Muffins with our own Hollandaise Sauce, and our Homestyle Potatoes. $9.95 Green Eggs & Ham Dr. Seuss would be proud of this Egg Scramble cooked with Pesto, Scallions, and Ham, served with our Homestyle Potatoes and Choice of Toast. $8.95 Corned Beef Hash Sherlock Holmes loves the mystery of our Corned Beef Hash cooked with Potatoes, Onions. Comes with 2 Eggs Cooked to Order and Choice of Toast $9.95 Scotch Eggs The Legend of the Loch Ness is nothing compared to our legendary boiled eggs surrounded by sausage and served with your choice of a side of Gravy or Major Grey’s Chutney, along with our Homestyle Potatoes, and Choice of Toast. $8.75 Biscuits and Gravy The North and South could agree on this breakfast. 4 Buttermilk Biscuits with Sausage Gravy.
