Election of Officers

President
1 Nominee – Curtis Faulkenberry – elected to office due to only nominee

Vice President
1 Nominee – Kendall Stacy – elected to office due to only nominee

Secretary/Treasurer
1 Nominee – Shonnie Hall – elected to office due to only nominee
Group discussed and decided to make this 1 individual office again. The elected individual can choose an
individual to aid them with the office.

Arena Director
Elvis Hall
Danny Hill

Elvis was elected by a majority vote

Assistant Arena Director
1 Nominee – Danny Hill – elected to office due to only nominee

Schedule Planning
    Audry Steelman was put in charge of the schedule
    Going to try to plan fun events for younger kids
    By unanimous decision, it was decided that exhibition group will compete after all point groups are
      complete
    All playdays will be sanctioned
    Start time will be 3pm until we decide at a later date to start later due to heat
    Going to try to plan around graduations and holidays
    Curtis will get Chamber dates to Audry for planning around

Horse Raffle
   All raffle tickets and money will need to be turned in at the next meeting
   Club will reimburse Elvis and Shonnie Hall for feed
   Drawing will take place the 1 st playday of the season
   We will sell tickets during the first playday and have the drawing during the playday

Arena Preparations
    Curtis is working with the Chamber to begin the renovations of the arena
    Chamber will be raffling a shotgun to raise money for the new panels. $2500 is needed for the purchase
      of the panels
    Curtis has priced the panels – cheapest rate is with OK Steel and Pipe ($50 each). Will give an
      additional break if we let them advertise in the arena.
    Curtis has discussed with Joe Mode at the prison – prison can build the panels in sections and Curtis will
      be able to move the sections to the arena on his trailer
    We will be removing the back fence of the arena and utilize the old back fence
    Freddy Cox will have county workers come out to work the dirt
      Discussed the need for a south concession. If enough money is raised, Donnie Killion has offered a
       crew to assist in the erection of the new concession.
      We will need to hang the signs for businesses that donated to the club
      We need to find sponsors to renovate the bucking shoots ($500 each)

Quilt Raffle
    Lane family has offered to make a western themed quilt for the club to auction
    Shonnie will make raffle tickets to hand out at the next meeting
    $1.00 for 1 and $5.00 for 6
    Drawing will take place mid-way through season

Playday procedures discussed
    You must pay before your name will be added to the list.
    If you want to run a tab at the concession stand, you must provide cash up front or a check. Check will
      be filled out at the end of the night. You can come by the concession stand to find out the total.
    At the beginning of each playday, Workers will be assigned to assist with announcers booth and
      concession stand. These individuals will be responsible for ensuring that the booth and concession stand
      have workers at all times. This does not mean that these individuals are the only ones that will work
      these jobs for the evening.
          o 2 for concession stand
          o 4 for booth

Fundraising Goal
We have set a goal of $10,000 for the 2009 season

We will be planning fundraisers at the next meeting after the schedule is presented.

Next Meeting
Next meeting will be held May 27 th at the arena. Clean-up, raffle turn in. If rained out, we will meet at
