Implementation Process flows are organized around "swimlanes" to indicate involvement and accountability in the process. Implementation Process flow does not indicate if a process step or tool is required or optional (information is found in the Phase Completion Checklist). Process step boxes and decision boxes are placed in the "swim lanes" based on accountability for the item. Tools are represented in the Implementation Process Flow where they are likely to be first introduced/utilized (hyperlinks for the tools are provided. Implementation Process flow does not indicate input and output path of the tools or deliverables of the process. Solid-lined process step boxes indicate typical process steps. Asterisk and foot note is used to indicate clarification comments as needed.
