Agribusiness Development
The Department of Primary Industries' Agribusiness Development initiative helps grow the export potential of Victoria's agrifood producers and their industry groups. Assistance and support is provided for strategic market analysis, international market development and regional agribusiness development. Eligibility Checklist: Companies must be: •	 a small to medium agribusiness or industry organisation; and •	 aiming to develop their export capability. Access Programs
The use of Victorian Government office facilities in North America, China, India or the Middle East is available to eligible Victorian companies planning to export to those regions. In addition, local staff can assist with general market information and market entry strategies. Firms can use the facilities free of charge for the first two weeks and for US$250 per month thereafter. Eligibility Checklist: Companies must be: •	 Victorian based; and •	 pre-qualified by the Export Coordination Unit. The Department of Education and Training's Provider Bookshelf helps Victorian education institutions enhance their international marketing activities. This online resource enables fast and efficient access to the Study Melbourne logo, style guidelines and relevant images. An e-newsletter provides updates to registered institutions on Study Melbourne brand activities. Eligibility Checklist: The Bookshelf is available to all Victorian training organisations registered with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Course for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and authorised government agencies. Victorian Government Business Office Education Services
Victorian Government Business Offices provide project based services on a fee-for-service basis to assist eligible Victorian education and training providers promote their services in overseas markets. Eligibility Checklist: Assistance is available to: •	 Victorian universities; •	 training organisations with CRICOS registration in Victoria; •	 Victorian Government schools; •	 schools registered with the Registered Schools Board of Victoria; and •	 Victorian English Language and Foundation Studies providers. Financial Assistance

Arts Victoria ­ International Program
Arts Victoria's International Program helps professional Victorian artists and arts organisations present their work internationally and collaborate with creative communities worldwide. Financial assistance of between $5,000 and $25,000 is available for a range of costs associated with off-shore activity including exhibitions, residencies and performing arts tours.

Export Networks
Export Networks encourage new and existing business networks to provide their members with export information, training services and mentoring opportunities. Funding of up to $10,000 per annum is provided. Eligible networks may also access the Office of International Business and Export's wide range of resources.
Eligibility Checklist: A network must: •	 submit a 12 month export information and training schedule; and •	 outline member training and mentoring programs. Offered by the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development Find out more at

Governor of Victoria Export Awards
The annual Governor of Victoria Export Awards showcases Victoria's most successful and innovative exporters. Being part of the Awards is an opportunity for exporters to raise awareness of their company, products or services. Winners are eligible to enter the Commonwealth Government's Export Awards.

Eligibility Checklist: Applications are invited from companies and organisations that: •	 produce goods or services with Australian content of at least 50% of their Free On Board value; •	 earn foreign exchange; and •	 operate as a separate business if part of a larger organisation. Previous award winners may apply. Financial Assistance

First Step Exporter
First Step Exporter offers flexible funding to Victorian companies seeking to research and explore opportunities in their first export market or markets. A grant of up to $10,000 can be used to recover up to 50% of eligible expenses. These include market research, economy class airfares (not accommodation), train and bus fares within the overseas market/s, promotional material, trade fair participation and freight of samples.
Eligibility Checklist: Companies must: •	 be Victorian based; •	 have been established for a minimum of two years; •	 have export turnover of less than 10% of total annual dollar turnover; •	 produce a product or service that can be exported; •	 be financially viable and possess sound management skills; and • be in an industry of strategic importance. Grow Your Business
Grow Your Business provides financial assistance to new and established businesses wishing to explore and expand their export potential. Funds can be utilised for strategic reviews, business development plans, group activities and networking. Grants are also available to subsidise the cost of participation in export related workshops.
Eligibility Checklist: Companies must: •	 be based in Victoria or intend to locate to Victoria; •	 have management strengths and be financially viable; •	 be committed to strategic planning and growth; •	 have potential for export/import replacement and/or a commitment to innovation; and • have been operating for at least 12 months*.
*New businesses that have been operating for at least six months will be considered if they have a professional business plan or have attended a Victorian Government pre-business workshop or Under New Management seminar.

To significantly grow export performance, Next Step Exporter - Export Adviser connects exporting businesses with the skills of an experienced export adviser over a one year period. Financial assistance for this initiative is provided through an auspice organisation. Eligibility Checklist: Companies must: •	 be existing exporters with growth potential; •	 be Victorian-based; •	 have been established for a minimum of two years;

Next Step Exporter Collaborative Export Marketing
Next Step Exporter - Collaborative Export Marketing provides financial assistance to groups of companies and industry bodies undertaking joint export development plans or bids for international projects. The program is open to groups with a minimum of three members. Groups may include industry associations, supply chain sets and project based networks.
Eligibility Checklist: Companies must: •	 be Victorian based; •	 have been established for a minimum of two years; •	 be financially viable and possess sound management skills; and •	 be in an industry of strategic importance. ICT Trade Events and Export Assistance
Multimedia Victoria's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Trade Events and Export Assistance supports export ready companies planning to attend recognised overseas trade fairs and missions. Five grant categories are designed to help Victorian companies take their products to the world.

Eligibility Checklist: Companies must: •	 be a commercial enterprise with less than 200 employees; •	 work primarily in the ICT sector; •	 be based and headquartered in Victoria; •	 not be a foreign subsidiary; •	 have an Australian content of at least 50% of the total sales value; and •	 submit an approved export plan or project plan. Trade Fairs and Missions
Trade Fairs and Missions assistance helps companies create export opportunities and gather market intelligence relating to strategic overseas markets. Grants can be used to attend trade fairs, organise trade missions overseas and bring trade missions to Victoria.
Eligibility Checklist: Companies involved must: •	 be Victorian based; •	 export goods and services that are of Victorian origin; •	 be of acceptable risk; and •	 be export ready. Tuition Exemption for Research Student Dependents
To encourage world-class post-graduate research students to study in Victoria, an exemption from tuition fees in Victorian Government secondary schools is available for their dependents. Tourism Industry Trade Show and Mission Support
Tourism Victoria provides a subsidy to Victorian travel industry operators attending international trade shows or undertaking trade mission activities. Operators can receive a maximum subsidy of $4,000 in any given financial year. Melbourne Australia International Scholarships
Melbourne Australia International Scholarships are available to international students in fields of study related to areas of skill shortage in Victoria. The Department of Education and Training provides funding of up to $14,000 to undergraduate or postgraduate students undertaking their first course in Victoria.
