This picture is the Oregon Packing Company’s canned pear label from 1889 (East Portland). The best places for growing pears in Oregon are in Hood River north of Mt. Hood and in Medford in the Rogue Valley. What is Oregon’s state fruit? That’s right, pears! Try designing your own label for one of Oregon’s many agricultural products.
