COMEDIAN SERVICE CONTRACT
This is a contract by and between, __________________________________________________, hereafter referred to as "Performer" and, _____________________________________________, hereafter referred to as "Purchaser’, entered into by the parties for the procurement of Performer’s services as a Comedian, The parties agree to the following terms: Performance Site: __________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________ _____ Date and Time: ____________________________________________________________________ Length of Performance: _____________________ Amount of Payment: _________________ Contact Person: ___________________________________________________________________ Additional Terms: __________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________ ______ It is further agreed by the parties that: A. The performer agrees to discharge his obligations under this contract to the best of his abilities, under the circumstances, and acknowledges that he is performing as an independent contractor under all applicable state and federal laws. B. The Performer shall be relieved of any and all liability or obligation to perform. in the event that the performance of any of his duties Is hindered or prevented by circumstances or conditions not under his control. C. The Purchaser shall supply a suitable high quality sound and lighting system and stage. D. The Purchaser shall forward this signed contract and 1/2 of the "Amount of Payment" to the Performer or his designated agent within 10 days of the signing of the contract or 7 days prior to the performance date, whichever Is sooner. The remaining balance shall be due and payable at the time of performance, prior to performance. In any event, if the performance Is cancelled by Purchaser with less than 30 days notice, any advance payment received by Performer may be retained by him as a rebooking fee.

The parties agree that this is the totality of the agreement between them and that there are no oral or verbal agreements except as set forth in the contract.
