For sale is arguably one of the finest modified 1949 or 1950 Oldsmobile Coupes in the USA.

This vehicle was originally a 76 model (Big 6 engine). It has been updated with a blueprinted
Olds 425 C.I. engine mated to a Phoenix Transmission 700R overdrive.

This is not a show car trailer queen. It is allergic to trailers and has 21,800 road proven miles
since a professional frame-off restoration finished in 2003. I recently completed my second
cross country trip with this vehicle creating 1 million smiles. It is outfitted with a light duty 1" hitch
receiver and 4-wire harness.

Every moving and connecting part is brand new including grade 8 hardware, bushings and
suspension parts.

 It is outfitted with 1950 Oldsmobile trim and 1-pc. windshield. All flat glass is new bronze tint. It
has all new chrome and professionally polished stainless. It is dressed in Sherwin Williams 3-
stage Cadillac Diamond White (pearl) paint. Photos don't do the pearl paint justice.

The interior sports mocha and white leather Lincoln Mark VIII 6-way power seats and tan tweed
headliner and side panels. It has 3 point shoulder harnesses in front and lap belts in back.

Diamond Back wide whites are mounted on 15 x 9 (back) and 15 x 7 (front) Early Wheel Co.
solids powder coated red. Rechromed stock ‘49 caps are adapted to the late wheels and along
with stainless 3-rib beauty rims enhance the footprint.

Power rack and pinion steering, and 1" Quickor stabilizers front and back enhance the turns.
Power GM front discs and stock Olds drums in back make it stop.

                                                                        The 425 C.I. Olds engine
                                                                        was built by Rocket
                                                                        Science Engineering of
Hailey, Idaho and heads given breath by J. Weight Racing Engines of Davis, California. It is
linked thru the 700R to a rebuilt stock 3.23:1 Olds rear end. It runs smooth and mellow but can
get angry if you toggle the QuickTime servo-operated electric exhaust cutouts.
Now is the time for me to move on to other toys and funds are limited. Believe me this one has
provided much joy. It has been pampered and cared for. There is no actual or implied warranty
