Small Business Grant and Loan Opportunities
For the exclusive purpose of assisting small business owners, including artists/craftsmen, and other individuals or entities who are starting small businesses, the Economic Development Commission offers financial assistance options. These options are intended to encourage growth of locally owned and operated businesses, provide additional employment and income in the region, and promote the overall spirit of independent enterprise, particularly in the outlying villages.
Grants of up to $1,500 are available for payments to suppliers of the following items and services.
No grants will be payable directly to a grantee. Tools, equipment and business supplies construction, repair or renovation of business facilities cost of training and licensing other start-up costs (not including purchase of inventory or parts for resale) Qualifications: a sound business development plan or business history support from the community in the form of three letters of recommendation or a village/city council resolution in support of the grant invoices from vendors/suppliers for grant request amount grant approval by the Economic Development Commission
Small Business Grant Application
Grants of up to $1,500 are available for payments to suppliers of tools, equipment, business supplies, training and licenses as well as services such as construction, repair or renovation of facilities that are necessary to start or expand a business. No grants will be payable directly to a grantee.

4. Required Attachments: a. A completed BUSINESS PLAN form. b. A supportive resolution from your Traditional IRA or city council (sample resolution included) OR three letters of support from non-related, adult residents of your village
