Company Overview
Allianz China Life was founded on January 25, 1999. Its shareholders are Allianz Group, the German financial services conglomerate, and CITIC Trust Co., Ltd. In 2006, the company changed its name from Allianz Dazhong to Allianz China Life. Combining the best of international risk management and local financial expertise, Allianz China Life won a strong reputation for professional service, customized products and successful distribution channels. To meet the comprehensive needs of its customers, the joint venture offers all lines of life, retirement, investment, education, health and accident insurance products and services to individual and group customers through agency sales teams, banks, brokers and group sales. Since establishment in 1999, Allianz China Life steadily grew its business. After China joined WTO and the open-up of financial markets, Allianz China Life entered a period of rapid growth. In 2007 it reached a turnover of 3 billion yuan with year-on-year increase of more than 150%. Allianz China Life now ranks among the top international insurance companies in China. The company’s multi-channel strategy was one of the key factors to the success. Bancassurance’s premium soared 200%, runner-up among international insurance players in China. Agency manpower also achieved an over 130% jump during the year. Allianz China Life focuses on customers’ needs and satisfaction, quickly responding to clients’ requirements with solutions of high efficiency and quality. It has established an all-sides service channel in order to build a first-class service system. Allianz China Life has intensified its market expansion throughout China. Starting in Shanghai, the company has since grown to cover markets in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta regions; the company is presently cultivating western China. Establishment of Beijing Branch in June, 2008 marked the entering of North Market. Allianz China Life is committed to offering superior service to more customers by expanding its business presence in many more provinces and cities throughout China.
