s Big Beat don't look back
NO sooner had texas radio & the big
beat released an album's worth of mate¬
rial than the three-piece began on sec¬
onds.	,
Playing on Friday at the Lass O'Gow-
rie, the group's latest song NASA be
informed has hit the airwaves.
The group has said the song, meant to
be about the first moon mission, was
written by bass player and screenplay
writer joe Williams.
Williams, obsessed with things cos¬
mic, recently had a short film, retro
SHEILAS IN SPACE: ALIENS ARE TOOLING OUR
sheilas, screened on SBS television's eat
CARPET.
One thing for sure is the group can be
heard again on February 15 at the New¬
castle Community Arts Centre with
SPOON, DORADUS and REVOLVER. TE
