1. Getting to the Resort
Getting to and from the resort is EASY! Brisbane airport is only 10 minutes drive from the
Tangalooma Wharf (Holt Street Wharf) and three large ferries go to the resort at least three times
per day. Tangalooma can be at the start, in the middle or at the end of a Gold Coast Itinerary and
is connected by bus, taxi, limousine, private transfer, self-Drive or a helicopter flight:

Approx 1.5 hours from Holt Street Wharf to Gold Coast accommodation and airport
Approx 10 minutes from Holt Street Wharf to Brisbane Airport
Approx 25 minutes from Holt Street Wharf to Brisbane city centre

Bus:
Seat in Coach bus transfers can be booked to meet the 10:00am boat to the resort and the
16:00pm boat from the resort.

Helicopter: (Amazing as a sightseeing experience too!!!)
Also a fantastic sightseeing experience, helicopter flights are available to get to the resort from
Brisbane airport, Holt Street Wharf, Gold Coast airport, Conrad Jupiters, O’reillys and other
nearby destinations with helicopter pads:

Boats:
There are three boats that operate a minimum of three times a day, to and from the resort. The
Express, 90 seats, The Flyer, 180 seats and The Jet, 340 seats:

3. Meals & Restaurants




Tangalooma has numerous restaurants available, including the original Tursiops buffet
restaurant, Coffee Shop, beach Café, Steakhouse and Chef’s fine dining restaurant.

Indian: Indian Vegetarian and Jain Vegetarian options are available, please advise at time of
booking. We have a wide selection of dishes including: Dal Tadka, Dal Makhani, Paneer Butter
Masala, Palak Paneer, Rajma Masal, Chana Masala, Aloo Mattar and Bhindi Bhaji.


Tursiops: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily at Tursiops in buffet style. Dinner buffet
also has a range of deserts available. The cuisine spans a range of international dishes. Also on
offer is the upgrade to Hot Pot.

Beach Café:   Offering sushi, hamburgers, pasta dishes, salads, pizza and much more. The
Beach Café is open for lunch and dinner with seating overlooking the pristine white beach.

Coffee Shop: Coffee, tea, milkshakes, ice cream, pastries are available all day.
Steakhouse: A fantastic A La Carte option with several steak dish options (Eye Fillet, T-Bone,
Porterhouse etc.) also chicken and Barramundi.

Chefs: Tangalooma’s fine dining restaurant, includes entrée’s and main courses ranging in from,
beef, chicken and seafood. Finish off with some delightful deserts.

Halal: For any clients wanting Halal, please advise at time of booking and it will be easily
prepared and organised..

Hot Pot: Chinese style Hot Pot. Vegetables, beef, chicken, noodles, all served freshly as an
extra to the Tursiops Buffet menu.
4. Accommodation Options
Hotel and Deluxe Hotel
                           Pictured is a Deluxe Hotel Room also
                           offered is a regular Kookaburra Hotel Room.
                           These are serviced daily, can sleep two
                           adults and two children comfortably in either
                           twin beds and a double sofa or a king bed
                           and a double sofa (Deluxe rooms have no
                           twin bed options. All rooms have air
                           conditioning and a balcony overlooking the
                           gardens and the bay. The Hotel Rooms are
                           3.5 star and Deluxe Hotel is 4 star.




Deep Blue Apartments
                           Luxury 2 (max 6 guests), 3(max 8 guests)
                           and 4 (max 10 guests) bedroom, beachfront
                           apartments. All apartments come with fully
                           equipped kitchens with stainless steel
                           appliances, air-conditioning, spa bath in the
                           master ensuite, multiple bathrooms, views
                           over Moreton Bay and large balcony space.
                           Perfect for the extended family to all stay
                           together in luxury and comfort.




Hilltop Luxury Houses
                           Luxury 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom houses,
                           overlooking the resort and with uninterrupted
                           views of Moreton Bay. The package
                           includes buffet breakfast daily at the resort
                           and an electric golf buggy for the guests to
                           drive around the resort. The houses can
                           comfortably sleep 8 to 12 pax.
Resort Suites and Units
                          Tangalooma has over 100 Resort Suites
                          and Units. The Resort Units are a single
                          room with a kitchenette (microwave,
                          refrigerator, kettle), air conditioning a queen
                          bed, two single beds and a sofa. The Resort
                          Suites are very similar but with a Master
                          bedrooms off the main room.




Villa’s
                          Two storey townhouse style Villas (no air-
                          Conditioning), a lot of your clients will be
                          interested in these Villa’s over the Summer
                          period as the climate requires no air
                          conditioning, these villas are rated at 3 ½
                          star, maximum 8 pax. There is a double
                          bunk upstairs, two bedrooms, one with a
                          queen bed, one with two single beds and
                          downstairs is a lounge and full kitchen.
5. Tours:
Tangalooma offers over 75 tours and activities, over 30 of them free. A few of the more popular
tours are described and pictured below:

Dolphin Feeding
                                                    Tangalooma is most well known for the
                                                    family of 12 dolphins (2 born in august and
                                                    September in 2008) that come in to visit all
                                                    resort guests every night of the year to be
                                                    hand fed. Depending on the time of the year,
                                                    Dolphin Feeding can start as early as
                                                    6:00pm in the middle of winter and 7:30pm
                                                    in the middle of Summer.




Desert Safari Tour: (4wd adventure with sand tobogganing)
                                                    The Desert Safari tour operates all year
                                                    round at 9:00am and 1:30pm daily. The bus
                                                    driver meets clients at reception before
                                                    taking them for a 4WD adventure ride
                                                    through the national park and rainforest
                                                    before arriving at the Moreton Island
                                                    “Desert.” Once there all participants are
                                                    briefed on the sand tobogganing before
                                                    sliding down one of the greatest sand dunes
                                                    in the world at speeds of up to 40 km/h.




Whale Watching
                                                    From June to October each year the
                                                    majestic Humpback Whales migrate around
                                                    Moreton island to northern Queensland to
                                                    give birth to their young. Each day
                                                    Tangalooma operates a whale watching
                                                    cruise directly from the resort starting at
                                                    12:00pm. It includes a light lunch and a
                                                    fantastic chocolate muffin at the end of the
                                                    trip! The tour lasts roughly 3 hours and
                                                    whale sightings have been documented on
                                                    every tour for the more than 3 years.
Quad Biking
                    Quad biking tours, traversing sand dunes,
                    bush trails, hills and beach operate daily at
                    10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm,
                    3:00pm and 4:00pm for roughly 45 minutes.
                    There are three sizes of quad bike, the first
                    being suitable for children up to 12 years old
                    (minimum age of riders is 6 yrs), the next
                    size is the regular bike for all adults and then
                    there is also a two seater for an adult/child
                    or husband/wife combination.



Pelican Feeding
                    Every morning at 8:30am, down by the jetty,
                    the Pelicans and Cormorants come in to be
                    fed by the Tangalooma marine biologist
                    team. Guests are free to watch and learn
                    about these unique birds.



Dugong Eco cruise
                    Tangalooma is very lucky to be part of
                    Moreton Island and its wonderful surrounds.
                    These include sandy shallows that
                    proliferate with underwater grasses that are
                    much loved by Dugongs. Known in other
                    parts of the world as a Manatee or a sea
                    cow, the species in Australia is much
                    endangered. Tours operate daily at 12:45pm
                    for roughly 2 hours and are suitable for
                    adults or children.
Jet Ski Tour
                                                     Whatever the weather, jet skiing is
                                                     exhilarating! Snap out of island time and get
                                                     a high energy buzz skimming across the
                                                     waves on Tangatours guided jet ski tour. No
                                                     Licence required. Must be 16+ years to
                                                     Drive, 18+ years to drive with a passenger.
                                                     Tour guides can take a passenger,
                                                     passenger must be 8+ years.




4WD Self Drive over Moreton Island                                                           rd
                                                     Tangalooma is on Moreton Island, the 3
                                                     largest sand Island on the planet, being 37
                                                     kms long and at 8 kms wide at the widest
                                                     point leaving you with a huge area to
                                                     explore. Start at the resort and visit the 16
                                                     Tangalooma shipwrecks then head further
                                                     up to the small townships of Bulwer and
                                                     Cowan Cowan before coming to North Point
                                                     to view the ocean and possibly spot whales
                                                     or dolphins. Move down to “Honeymoon
                                                     Bay,” and have a picnic lunch before going
                                                     down to the Blue Lagoon for a relaxed
                                                     secluded swim and returning to the resort.

Kayaking, Beer and Prawns, an afternoon “Australian Style”
                                                     Kayaking tours to the 16 shipwrecks just
                                                     north of the resort are perfect for those
                                                     glassy island afternoons, the more
                                                     adventurous may wish to join a tour just
                                                     before sunset. At the wrecks, learn of the
                                                     history of the underwater hulks and the fish
                                                     that call them home, (feed them too!!!). Look
                                                     out for Tangalooma’s family of dolphins as
                                                     they come in for a feed in the evening!




Other tours and activities are very popular and are well regarded. Free activities include the
marine aquarium discussion, parasailing, animals of the night tour, stargazing tour, eco walks,
wrecks sightseeing and fish feeding tour and some of the fantastic helicopter sightseeing tours
operating from the resort over the Moreton Island National Park and Moreton bay!

Conference Itinerary to suit up to 12 people:
Day1
16:30pm - Meet at Holt Street Wharf to board Tangalooma Launch
17:00pm - Depart Holt St. Wharf
18:15pm - Arrive Tangalooma, Met by guest services, taken to small conference room, VIP room
opened for guests to get changed to feed the dolphins, also within conference room, a cocktail
and some nibbles will be provided
18:45pm - Dolphin feeding in VIP Lane with private briefing on the dolphin feeding and lane
preference for VIP feeding experience
19:30pm - Check in to Deep Blue Apartments and shower and change for dinner
20:00pm - Meet in designated Deep Blue apartment. BBQ style dinner to be cooked on the
balcony of the apartments and served to all guests. Drinks will also be provided for 2 hours. A
chef will arrive at the apartment, prepare, cook and serve the meal.
22:00pm - Dinner and drinks to finish
Day 2
06:30am - Guests free to go to breakfast anytime up to 09:00am
08:30am: - Meet at the shore end of the Jetty for the Pelican Feeding, also watch the cheeky
cormorants and the majestic Whistling Kites
09:00am - After Pelican Feeding, group will move back to designated Apartment for Conference.
Apartment will be set up as a small conference room. The flat screen TV will show
slides/presentation/videos. The Tables and seating will be rearranged and changed by staff to
suit the layout required. Tea, Coffee and biscuits will also be available.
12:00pm - Gourmet sandwiches and fresh water will be brought to the room for the guests to
have a running lunch during their conference
15:30pm - Make your way to the shore end of the jetty to collect your boarding ticket for the
Tangalooma Launch to return home.
Incentive : 3 days, 2 nights (roughly 60 guests)
Day 1
11:15am - Upon arrival, Banner on Jetty of Corporate name, met by guest services, escorted to
Rotunda a buffet lunch.
13:30pm - Meet at reception for group desert safari tour with sand tobogganing. Sand

will have a competitive nature with prizes given to the person that slides the furthest, person with
most sand in their face wins a towel!
15:00pm - Suggested Activity: Beach Cricket or Beach Football.
18:30pm - Meet at Jetty to prepare for VIP Dolphin Feeding.
19:00pm - Return to room and prepare for Gala Dinner
19:30pm - Meet at Rotunda for Gala Dinner, Free flow of drinks. (Karaoke Option available)
Day 2
07:30am - Breakfast at Tursiops, buffet style
09:00am - Special conference:
- Meet at Shore end of jetty for your Quad Bike Ride!!! You will have a tour on your way to a
secluded and secret destination
- After the quad bike ride you will arrive in an open area with a marquee set up, free flow of iced
water, tea and coffee. Tables and chairs set up as per request, theatre style etc…
- Gourmet Sandwiches for lunch at the end of the conference
- Quad bike ride back to the resort at the end of the conference
13:00pm - An Afternoon of Water sports:
- the group will split, some will take the water bike’s (14 pax, 7 bikes, 2 per bike) for races and
adventures
- Jet Ski, Double up on a jetski for a tour around the bay and Shipwrecks. (12 people)
- Parasailing, 2 people at a time
- Fish Feeding and Wrecks Sightseeing tour (last 16 people)
- Over a period of 5 hours, everyone will have a go at each activity as the groups rotate through
after about 1 hour and 15 minutes at each one
- Finish roughly 18:00pm in the summer.
19:00pm - Nhugi Aboriginal Cultural experience:
- Come down to the beach beside the jetty for a true Australian experience with a cultural and
dance exhibition from the local tribe of the Moreton Bay region, The Nhugi tribe
- The group can get totally involved with the dancing, instruction will be provided before finishing
off with a group dance, both the men and the women separately doing their own individual
dances before they all come to dance together.
- All this in front of a large bonfire with stories told by the tribe storyteller.
20:30pm: Casual buffet dinner in the restaurant at own leisure
Day 3
06;30am - Tursiops Buffet restaurant opens for breakfast
09:00am - Tangalooma Treasure Hunt!
- Pieces of a puzzle will be placed out over the resort to be found by a series of clues. Once
found, the puzzle has to be assembled and returned to base. Winners will receive set prizes.
- One of the puzzles can only be found by a ride in the helicopter. The heli tour will operate for 4
people at a time over a period of an hour and a half. Roughly 5 to 6 minutes per flight
- Teams will be split into 4’s
- Iced Water will be available from the café during the treasure hunt for all participating
12:30pm - BBQ Lunch on the beach front
15:30pm - Meet at shore end of jetty for your return home
16:00pm - Launch departs for Brisbane.
Incentive Group of up to 300pax, 2 day 1 night Itinerary:
Day 1
09:30am - Group to meet at shore end of Jetty for their own private Boat transfer to the resort.
10:00am - Tangalooma Launch departs Drinks and Canapes can be served on the way to the
11:15am - Arrive at the resort, Company banner waiting on the Jetty. Met by guest services and
escorted down to a Marquee set up between the accommodation and the beachfront for a Gala
greeting lunch. Hot bays of food will be set up around the tent where guests can choose small
dishes of what they prefer to eat, vegetarian, non vegetarian Indian plates plus western dishes
can be organised. Drinks can be served. Microphone can be provided with PA System for official
welcome and introductions.
14:00pm - Group Splits:
- Half of the group will meet at reception for group desert safari tour with sand tobogganing. Sand
tobogganing will have a competitive nature with prizes given to the person that slides the furthest,
person with most sand in their face wins a towel, toothbrush and ear cleaning buds!!! (roughly 2
hours) Then 1 hour free time
- The second half will split between 50 pax doing quad biking for 1 hour (can be run 3 times back
to back)
- 20 pax doing private dugong and eco cruise for 2 hours
- 10 pax to do jet ski tour for 1 hour (can be run 3 times back to back)
- Beach Cricket game for up to 30 pax to be set up, games of up to one hour at a time
- 40 pax Fish Feeding and Wrecks Sightseeing tour (1 hour)
17:00pm - Return to rooms to shower and get changed
18:30pm - Dolphin Feeding activity, group can take part in dolphin feeding with their own
designated feeding lanes and priority feeding and briefing. Photos will be given to them the
following day before they depart
19:30pm - After dolphin feeding, make your way back to the Marquee tent for the Gala dinner.
Seated dinner with Microphone and PA system. Round tables with linen. Plated menu with Entre,
Main and Dessert (Or buffet option). Drinks can be provided.
Day 2
07:30am - Buffet breakfast at the marquee for the full group
08:50am - Group Splits:
- Half of the group will meet at reception for group desert safari tour with sand tobogganing. Sand

15:30pm - Register at the Marine Education Centre for Dolphin Feeding Activity
16:00pm - Free activity: Dolphin Data Discovery.
18:00pm - Meet at the shore end of the jetty for Dolphin Feeding Experience
19:30pm - Suggested Dinner: 3 course meal at Chef’s Fine Dining Restaurant

Day 2
06:30am - Continental breakfast available on the executive floor.
09:00am - Today is free to enjoy the wonderful facilities at the hotel, relax around the pool, dine in
one of the many fine restaurants, try your luck in the Casino or call in at the Box Office for tickets
to the Conrad Jupiters Stage Show.
17:00pm - Have your luggage ready this evening for porters to collect in the morning. Please
pack a small separate bag to take with you on the helicopter flight tomorrow. Your luggage will be
taken to Tangalooma separately.
Day 3
06:30am - Continental breakfast is available on the executive floor
09:30am - Check out of your room and settle account for any incidentals
09:55am - Meet the limousine driver at the front entrance of the hotel for transfer to rooftop to
board the Helicopter for your flight to Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort. Enjoy a 40 minute
sightseeing flight over the magnificent Gold Coast waterways. See some of the world’s largest
Sand Islands from the perfect vantage point of the Helicopter on your way to Tangalooma.
10:40am - Approximate time of arrival at Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort. You will be met by
Guest services upon arrival and transferred by electric golf buggy directly to your Luxury Deep
Blue suite overlooking beautiful Moreton Bay. Time is free to relax and enjoy the beauty of
Moreton Island and the vast array of activities available at Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort.
(quad bikes, parasailing, massages, jet ski tours, eco tours, 4WD tours and sand tobogganing to
name a few…)
18:00pm - Watch from the balcony of your apartment as the local dolphin family come into the
shallows to meet the guests of the resort.
Day 4
06:30am - Breakfast is available from Tursiops buffet restaurant, or organise for a breakfast
hamper (vegetarian options available) to be delivered to your room to enjoy the sunrise and
resplendent morning from the best vantage point over Moreton Bay..
08:30am - Time is free at leisure, take part in any of the 75 tours and activities available at the
resort (over 30 of them Free)
18:00pm - Approximate time of Dolphin Feeding, make your way down to the shore end of the
Jetty to participate in this intimate brush with nature.
Day 5
06:30am - Breakfast is available from Tursiops buffet restaurant.
07:50am - Leave your bags outside your apartment to be collected by luggage services.
09:00am - Check out of your room.
- During your final day until 3:30pm you will have access to the VIP room downstairs from your
apartment. An air conditioned lounge with unlimited tea and coffee, showers and fresh towels.
- Time is free at leisure.
15:30pm - Make your way to the Ticket Hut at the shore end of the Jetty to collect your boarding
pass to return to the Brisbane. Another option is to fly directly to the Brisbane mainland or to the
Brisbane airport by Helicopter.
16:00pm - Launch departs for Brisbane
17:15pm - Approximate time of arrival into Holt St. Wharf. Farewell!!!
