  Swedish Match fire up their field team with ComOps SAM 

 
Replacing Swedish Match’s existing Palm‐based Sales force automation solution, ComOps SAM (Sales 
Account Management) will be used in the field on Tablet computers. 


The global Group, Swedish Match have a broad offering of market‐leading brands in smokefree tobacco 
products, cigars, pipe tobacco and lights products. Brands include; Redhead, Willem, Davidoff, Borkum 
Riff, and Cricket. Swedish Match uses these world leading brands and niche tobacco products to work 
harmoniously in growing markets with current social and consumer trends. 


Operating in a highly competitive and regulated industry, Swedish Match sells to Tobacco specialists and 
convenience stores directly as well as through the use of external Distributors.  A solution was needed 
that could enable and enhance this direct selling while also allowing turn in orders to be passed across to 
their Distributors. 


ComOps SAM supports the reps in the field, giving the reps the ability to take orders while in front of a 
customer, check pricing and range, manage boot stock, complete promotional compliance tracking, as 
well as allowing the reps to communicate with head office more effectively and efficiently. 


Reps will have the ability to view sales history while in the field so that they know where to focus their 
efforts, executing customer‐centric calls as well has having the ability to capture customer signatures for 
authorisations. 


Management will also have visibility over the field team through the reporting function within ComOps 
SAM.  Decisions will be able to be made more proactively instead of relying on month‐end reporting.
