The CMO CLUB Membership Rules
1. All Members must currently be a CMO (or the senior most marketing person for a company, business unit, or product line) or have been in that position within the last 4 months. Marketing leadership must be a substantial portion of the individual’s job. 2. All Members must agree to inform The CMO CLUB if they no longer have a CMO role, and the date that this occurred as part of their renewal request. You main remain a member up to 8 months after no longer having a CMO role. 3. All Members must agree their participation in the club is for networking, sharing ideas and helping each other be better CMOs, and NOT primarily for selling products/services to other CMOs. 4. All Members must agree to the CMO CLUB Mantra of “Give to Get” and agree to actively participate at dinners, on the site, or at events. 5. All Members must agree not to (1) Knowingly transmit any information, data, images or other materials that is unlawful, harmful, vulgar or the like, or any material that infringes any intellectual property right, including but not limited to patent, trademark or other proprietary rights of any third party, (2) Violate any applicable law, (3) Violate or attempt to violate the security of www.thecmoclub.com, (4) Provide your CMO CLUB username and password to any other person, (5) Reverse engineer or disassemble any portion of the CMO CLUB service, or (6) Interfere with the Service by overloading, flooding, or using browsers, spiders, robots, avatars or the like to navigate any portion of the www.thecmoclub.com site. 6. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and username and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under their password and username.
7. The CMO CLUB may terminate members’ ability to access the Service at any time without notice if members do not abide by the above membership rules. The CMO CLUB has the sole discretion over the refund of membership fees in these situations. 8. All Members must agree they assume all responsibility and risk for their use of the CMO CLUB Services. 9. All Members must agree that annual membership refunds will be provided (less $50 processing fee) up to 30 days after paying annual membership. After 30 days, no refunds will be provided. 10. All annual membership fees and conference fees are assumed to be non-refundable except in cases where a promotion or offers explicitly provides other provisions.
