Personal Eligibility Criteria:
Study Intentions. Applicants for an Undergraduate scholarship must be intending to undertake full time study in an eligible program in Home Economics or
equivalent. Applicants for a post graduate scholarship will normally have an undergraduate award in an eligible program in Home Economics or equivalent
and must be intending to undertake study in an eligible post graduate program.

Career Intentions. Applicants must demonstrate clear intentions to work in the field of Home Economics and to make a professional contribution (see section
8). Under the terms of King O'Malley's Will scholarships may not be granted to students intending to prepare for careers in commercial trading
(manufacturing & retailing), catering or entertainment fields. Teaching and community services areas are included in the eligible fields.

Australian Residency. Citizens of other countries, living in Australia, are required to provide evidence of their intention to remain permanent residents in
Australia. Overseas Australian citizens are required to agree to return to Australia within 6 months of completing their program of study.

3.       ELIGIBILITY OF PROGRAM (Program Criteria as listed 1 to 6 below)
Undergraduate Programs
           An eligible undergraduate program (Category 1 Scholarship) in Home Economics or equivalent must lead to a specific
qualification and meet all six Program Criteria listed below. An undergraduate student may pursue studies in only certain areas of a program
in any one year, therefore the definition of eligibility will be applied to the whole program rather than to the year's program for which a
scholarship is sought. Not all concepts fundamental to the criteria need be developed in a particular year, although it must be demonstrated
that they will be developed at some stage during the program.

Postgraduate Programs
         An eligible postgraduate program (Category 2 Scholarship) must lead to a specific qualification and must be categorised as
postgraduate by the relevant Commonwealth authority. To qualify for the postgraguste program, an applicant must have either:
      an undergraduate qualification which meets all the scholarship criteria (as listed 1 to 6 below) and a postgraduate program proposal
         which meets one or more of the program criteria listed below;
         or
      an undergraduate qualification which meets one or more of the undergraduate scholarship criteria and a postgraduate program
         proposal which meets all of the undergraduate program criteria listed below.

          Undergraduate program applicants - Year 12 students attach year 11 results. First year undergraduate students attach
          year 11 and year 12 results. Later year undergraduate students attach year 12 results and all undergraduate results to date.
          Postgraduate program applicants - Attach undergraduate results and any postgraduate results or reports to date. In addition
          postgraduate students are required to submit a progress report from their program supervisor.
11        SUBMISSION FOR SCHOLARSHIP (Please check very carefully before signing and sending application)
          An applicant must forward to the King & Amy O'Malley Trust
11.1      The original copy of the completed application as described in point 10.
11.2      Five (5) copies of the original completed application form. Original plus five (5) copies comprise a submission. If the passport size
          photo has not copied well, please attached an original to all copies of the submission.
11.3      Make a 6th copy of your completed application to keep for your own records.
