 ATTACH the Herd Health Status Declaration Form for Shows & Sales – Dairy Cattle and the Dairy BJD Assurance Score Declaration Form with
    this Application for Entry.
    Health Declaration Forms not received by 5pm Wednesday 10 February 2010 will result in entries not being processed.
 DO NOT ATTACH registration certificates. These will be required at inspection.
 POST this Application, with payment, to the CATTLE Section, Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, Locked Bag 4317, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127.
 Faxed Applications for Entry will not be accepted. Entry Fees are payable with application.

In order for Exhibitors to claim the RAS Member discount on Entry Fees for this Competition, Membership subscriptions must be paid and accepted by the
RAS before entering this Competition and the Membership Name must be: (i) where the Exhibitor is a single Person, the Exhibitor Name; (ii) where the Exhibitor
is more than one Person or a partnership, one of the Persons forming that partnership; or (iii) where the Exhibitor is a firm or company, the Authorised Contact
Person/Representative of that firm or company. Members who do not renew and pay for their Membership in full at the time of submitting their Entry Fees will
not be eligible for the membership discount.

PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT
The RAS adheres to the National Principles as specified in the Privacy Legislation. It has put in place policies and procedures to ensure adherence to this
legislation. The information provided by Exhibitors is used by the RAS to organise, process and conduct Competitions. By entering such Competitions,
Exhibitors consent to this information being used for this purpose including this information being made available to RAS sponsors, breed societies, the media,
the public, promotional purposes, archival purposes, published in RAS publications and could be made available to other third parties for the purpose of
promoting the RAS, the RAS Foundation, or as otherwise required by law. Exhibitors have a right of access to and alteration of personal information concerning
themselves in terms of the Privacy Act. This may be done by contacting the coordinator of the Competition or the RAS Privacy Officer on (02) 9704 1111, or in
writing to the RAS, Locked Bag 4317, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127. The RAS may publish the results of any disciplinary proceedings against Exhibitors in
accordance with the RAS General Regulations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
SUBSTITUTES
Nomination of substitutes is not required at this time (time of entry). At the conclusion of processing of entries, the RAS will forward to Exhibitors the Cattle
Confirmation of Entries Form. The form will contain the processed Exhibitor and Exhibit information appearing in this Application for Entry. Exhibitors will be
required to record Withdrawals and Substitutions on the Cattle Confirmation of Entries form and return it to the RAS Cattle Section by no later than 5pm
Monday 22 February 2010.
One juvenile for juvenile, one junior for junior, or one senior for senior Substitute will be accepted into a Class.
REGISTRATION VERIFICATION
All processed entries will be forwarded to the relevant breed society for verification. Registration certificates are required at the inspection of beef cattle.
Exhibitors are NOT to post or send registration certificates or copies thereof to the RAS, unless expressly requested to do so.
HEALTH DECLARATIONS
Exhibitors MUST complete the HERD HEALTH STATUS DECLARATION FOR SHOWS & SALES - DAIRY CATTLE and the DAIRY BJD ASSURANCE
SCORE DECLARATION FORM and post both documents with their Application(s) for Entry to the RAS Cattle section by 5pm Wednesday 10 February 2010.
If your Herd Health Status changes between the closing Day of Entry and the start of the Show, you are required to notify the RAS Cattle Section of this change
in status. It is the obligation of the Exhibitor to notify the RAS of any Herd Health Status changes.
Health certificates not received by 5pm Wednesday 10 February 2010 will result in entries not being processed.
Please assist us in this matter by making sure that you return your Health Declaration Forms by the required date.
UNETHICAL CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES
Unethical conduct and prohibited substances are governed by the RAS General Regulations. Breach of the General Regulations may result in immediate expulsion
from the Showground. The RAS General Regulations can be found at www.sydneyroyal.com.au
STALLING REQUESTS
The RAS will allocate stalling for Exhibits. Stalling of Cattle is done in accordance with Health status and regulations.

GROOMING FRAME
There allocated areas for grooming frames with access to power. Grooming frames will be permitted in these areas only. A $100 fine applies to Exhibitors
responsible for Grooming frames situated outside authorised areas. Restrictions will be placed on the allocation of grooming frames dependant on the number of
cattle Exhibits per Exhibitor.
PARKING
Exhibitors, please complete the Hill Road (P5-C) Parking Form to book parking and submit, with payment, to the Parking Coordinator – Cattle Section RAS by
Wednesday 10 February 2010.
ACCOMMODATION
In order to meet Fire and Safety Regulations, the number of Exhibitors permitted to be accommodated overnight in Cattle Pavilion lofts is a maximum of 3
persons only per loft at any one time. This will be strictly enforced at all times.
The number of authorised persons allocated loft accommodation will be on the basis of the following -
1 – 3 head – 1 space
4 – 6 head – 2 spaces
7 – 10 head – 3 spaces
The RAS arranges for temporary huts, supplementary to existing Lofts allocated within the Cattle Section, to accommodate Cattle Exhibitors for a fee of $30.00
per person per night.
Exhibitors that will not have access to sufficient accommodation spaces in lofts have the opportunity to book and pay for additional accommodation onsite.
These huts are provided on a ‘user pays’ basis. The huts are bare of any equipment. To apply for on-site accommodation, fill in the Application for
Accommodation and return to the by Friday 5 March 2010. Do not send payment with this application. Hut fees are payable only upon RAS’ notification to
the Exhibitor of hut allocations.
