Did you know that Perth Railway Station used to be a lake?
And that Langley Park and the Esplanade used to be in the river?
To find out how the river and lakes impacted on the early history and design of our
city and how changes have affected the Swan River, join members of the Claise
Brook Catchment Group for an easy bicycle tour around Perth city.
Starting with a ride along the river foreshore, the tour includes the Narrows
Interchange lakes, Perth Railway Station, Claisebrook Cove and Point Fraser
wetland.
